Location: Hybrid – 3 days in London office / 2 days WFH

Salary range: Up to £40k dependent on experience

The speed read:

Get the chance to work with and learn from best-in-class brand thinkers and do-ers.

The facts:

Collaboration is easily said, but here it is meaningful; whether that’s how this branding consultancy works with their clients on brand and business problems or how you work internally together as a small, focused, thoughtful team to solve the client challenge.

This agency makes early and deep connections with their client’s brand implementers on the ground, to make sure that what they have created helps the business in a tangible way, whether that is growing sustainably, getting genuine, long-lasting engagement, clear momentum in expressing the brand or embracing big change. They work with global businesses (a lot in Europe), so you can develop your international understanding of brands and businesses too.

Day to day, you’ll be designing identities and brand toolkits and systems, websites, layouts and other design elements. If you have any motion experience you can use it here, or you can learn it here. In fact, here you will have the space to develop your own interests in brand expression. The agency doesn’t pitch, the projects are long term and you can settle in and build your skills out.

You’ll be:

  • Developing thoughtful, considered, meticulous. You back up your design decisions.
  • Someone who is passionate about typography and their craft but also welcomes input from experienced seniors.
  • A key member of a small, highly intelligent team.
  • Having meaningful design conversations with the Creative Director.
  • Someone who wants to bring rigour and thoughtfulness to how make a brand happen in an organisation.
  • Bringing creativity to toolkits and systems.
  • Comfortable with and keen to learn new technology.

You’ll have:

  • The chance to find your own niche.
  • High Attention to detail.
  • The full Adobe CS suite at your disposal and the chance to get training in any new tools. You can bring Figma or learn it there.
  • The opportunity to develop a high quality brand conversation, to get you to the top of your game and develop your career.
  • Around 3 years + experience but a quality folio, ambition and articulation is more important than anything else.

Applicants must be living in and have the right to work in the UK.

About you

This is a role for a creative branding and digital designer with a curious mind that doesn’t look at problems at face value. A customer’s problem is our problem to solve, and we must dig deeper beneath the surface. You will be able to think about a customer’s business at a holistic level and challenge yourself to create delight in the seemingly mundane.

You are passionate about design and believe in its power to transform. You read, think about design, and take inspiration from everywhere.

You will need to think at 20,000 feet but be exacting about execution, care about every pixel, understand the power of strong copy, be strong at visual and verbal storytelling, and know the difference between a footmark and an apostrophe.

  • With 7+ years of agency or freelance experience, you will bring your insights into our branding and design process, be an active contributor to our agency processes, have a growth mindset and be eager to do your best work no matter the project.
  • An ability to look at a client problem through the audience’s eyes to help untangle the tangle a B2B client may get themselves in.
  • Driven to create exceptional brand and digital experiences to challenge the status quo in B2B design.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates craft and beauty, and shows business-level problem-solving.
  • Confident and able to defend decisions and construct arguments grounded in discovery and research.
  • Highly proficient in Figma to wireframe, design, and prototype responsive client websites, with variable, token and component-led design a must.
  • Ability to seamlessly translate the brand into digital experiences and understand the power of atomic design principles in UI and UX design.
  • Hand over well-documented rules to developers, such as spacing tokens, responsive typography, grids, layouts and interactions.
  • Self-sufficient and motivated to work alone or collectively as a team to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to create brand and web design from scratch and work on existing brands and websites, strictly adhering to existing visual and verbal design patterns.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Leverage AI in the design process, but be discerning about its place in delivery and active in exploring and learning.
  • Fiercely organised, a lover of craft with exacting standards.
  • Questioning and open to criticism or direction.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work comfortably with clients directly.
  • A candidate who enjoys cross-disciplinary design will thrive. We are a small team of specialist generalists.

What we offer

  • Health insurance gives you access to private healthcare to help cover costs.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays per year.
  • Flexible, remote working with core hours where the whole team overlap for continuity. If you have morning or evening commitments, we can accommodate your schedule.
  • A MacBook Pro, a 4K monitor and software.
  • A learning budget for professional growth.
  • Monthly socials and annual getaways.
  • £55,000 – £75,000 (DOE).

About Kohde

We are a B2B design agency that creates brand, web, and product design for start-ups, scale-ups, and enterprise clients in the SaaS and software space.

We embed ourselves in our customers’ businesses with the single-minded goal of transformation through design. We believe the only way to achieve this is through a long-term relationship.

We take pride in creating effective yet beautiful solutions.

We are a small team of designers, developers, and project managers with a keen eye for detail. We deliver exceptional work and form trusted, long-term relationships with our clients.

A candidate with B2B experience is preferred, but it is optional. While we execute with a B2C mindset, a candidate must understand the nuances and complexities of long sales cycles and multiple audiences in B2B, demonstrate the ability to turn complexity into simplicity, and show how design was the lever for change.

We continually seek improvements in our processes, meeting quarterly to discuss collective performance and set 90-day projects. We are open to admitting mistakes, but we learn from them.

We are a small team, and our ambition is to grow into a close-knit team of strategists, researchers, designers, writers, and developers. A candidate who wants to go on a journey and contribute to growth will thrive.

We are fully remote, with London serving as our hub for quarterly and monthly meet-ups and socials.

JOB ADDED

Made by ON exists at the intersection of creativity and technology. We’re looking for an inspiring instigator who embodies our “Magic & Logic” philosophy — someone who can dream up the impossible, build the prototype, and bring it all to life with breathtaking motion.

As a Creative Technology Partner, we collaborate with the world’s best agencies and most ambitious brands. We’re seeking a hands-on Creative Technologist with a passion for motion to act as a catalyst for our creative process, empowering our teams to build impactful work.

——

THE OPPORTUNITY

Your primary mission is to be a source of inspiration and innovation, working across our design and development teams to inject creativity, prototype groundbreaking ideas, and elevate our craft — especially within motion and interaction design.

Our team of forty embodies this vision: strategists who understand code, developers that love design, and designers who think in systems. You will be working with both developers, designers and strategists. Our belief in Creative Technology as the future of brand-led change has fuelled our success for nearly two decades, and earned us the trust of partners and clients.

You’ll be our go-to expert for exploring what’s next, from generative AI to advanced motion graphics. You will counter a purely “dev-minded” focus by demonstrating, through tangible work, how technology can be a medium for powerful creative expression. If you’re passionate about building the things that win pitches, excite clients, and inspire your colleagues, then this is the role for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead with prototypes

Spend your time building exciting, functional prototypes that bring creative concepts to life. You’ll explore emerging technologies like GenAI, WebGPU, and creative coding frameworks to show, not just tell, what’s possible.

Elevate creative expression through motion

Apply your deep expertise in motion design, interaction, and visual storytelling to raise the quality of our work. You’ll be the champion for the expressive, brand-led moments (from cinematic micro-interactions to fluid data visualisations) that make a project unforgettable.

Act as a creative catalyst

Work directly with designers and developers to foster an innovative mindset. You’ll help teams reframe challenges as creative opportunities and bridge the gap between ambitious ideas and technical execution.

Drive innovation & R&D

Stay at the forefront of the industry, identifying new tools, techniques, and trends. You’ll translate your findings into practical experiments and inspiration for the wider team.

Support commercial success

Partner on key pitches, using prototypes to make a compelling case for our unique value. You will help us win the transformative, ambitious projects that build our reputation.

WHAT YOU BRING

A portfolio of inspiring work

You have a collection of projects that demonstrate a fusion of creative vision and technical skill, with a strong emphasis on motion design. We want to see evidence of your ability to create expressive, interactive, and beautifully crafted digital experiences.

Hands-on technical fluency

  • Creative coding: Expertise in frameworks like Three.js, p5.js, WebGL, or WebGPU.
  • Mastery of motiona deep understanding of motion principles, timing, and easing. You have an exceptional eye for cinematic and interactive motion that feels both beautiful and intuitive.
  • 3D and motion tooling: Being comfortable in tools like After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar to express creative ideas and support asset generation for web experiences.
  • Modern web technologies: An understanding of modern development practices, architectures, and headless CMS platforms.
  • AI/ML: Experience applying AI and machine learning in creative contexts is a significant plus.

An innovative mindset

You see technology as a creative medium. You’re naturally curious, experimental, and thrive on turning “what if” ideas into reality.

A collaborative spirit

You are a natural bridge-builder who enjoys working across disciplines. You can communicate complex technical ideas to creative minds and translate creative ambition into technical requirements. You lead by doing and inspiring others.

WHY Made by ON?

Our position

We’re the creative technology partner that leading agencies and ambitious brands turn to when they need to bridge creative vision with technical execution.

Our approach

“Magic & Logic” — where creative ambition meets technical precision.

Our Team: 40 passionate individuals who believe technology should amplify human creativity, not replace it.

Our partnerships

Collaborating with world-class agencies on their most ambitious projects, while nurturing long-term relationships with progressive organisations.

Our impact

We work with industry-leading clients such as GF Smith, Estée Lauder, Greenpeace, EY, London Design Festival, Bhutan and Intuit to connect with their global audiences with impactful experiences.

——

TALK TO US IF…

If you see technology as a creative medium, believe in the power of prototypes to change minds, and want to lead a team that’s defining the future of creative technology — we should talk.

If this sounds like you, please reach out with a portfolio link or drop us a note explaining your approach to creative technology.

In this role, you’ll design intuitive user interfaces, craft thoughtful visual systems, and then bring them to life through clean, scalable front- and back-end code.

About us

At Design Bridge and Partners we design brands with the power to move. Pulling people towards them with an irresistible force that compels and connects. With 900 creative minds across 17 studios worldwide, diverse in expertise, experience, backgrounds and beliefs, we are united in our ambition to achieve real impact for our clients’ brands benefiting their business, people and the planet.

With expertise across brand strategy, brand design, brand engagement and brand effectiveness our clients across the world include NASA Artemis, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Diageo, Mastercard, Intel, HSBC, Tencent, Twitch, Heineken, Reckitt and the BBC.

About the role

We’re on the hunt for a Midweight Designer who doesn’t just push pixels, but truly understands how design drives desire and trust.

Based in our dynamic London studio, we are looking for someone who’s brimming with ideas, obsessed with craft, and ready to roll up their sleeves to bring bold, beautiful brands to life. This is no ordinary design gig. You’ll be diving headfirst into the worlds of CPG, Pharma, and Drinks, shaping identities and crafting packaging that doesn’t just sit on shelves, it flies off them.

One day, you might be giving a health product a fresh new look that builds trust and turns heads. The next, you’re designing packaging for a premium spirit that practically pours itself into the glass. Or maybe you’re dreaming up a campaign for a cheeky snack brand that knows how to have fun. Whatever the challenge, you’ll be there from concept to creation, building out everything from vibrant brand worlds to digital experiences, motion graphics, and, of course, show-stopping packaging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, so you’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with strategists, writers, and motion designers to create work that grabs attention, sparks emotion, and makes an impact.

Sound like your kind of playground? Keep reading.

About you

You’re not just a designer, you’re a creative powerhouse with an eye for detail and a passion for making brands unforgettable. Whether it’s a sleek identity for a global drinks brand or playful packaging for a quirky CPG disruptor, you know how to flex your style to fit the brief and connect with the audience. Your portfolio is a feast for the eyes, packed with thoughtful, well-crafted work across branding, digital, motion, and (most importantly) packaging. Bonus points if you’ve got experience in the fast-paced worlds of CPG, pharma, or drinks, we’d love to see how you’ve helped products stand out in crowded markets or built trust in sensitive categories.

You’re confident presenting your ideas, thrive on collaboration, and aren’t afraid to push boundaries to make good work great. Feedback? You welcome it, because you know it’s all about making the final result sing. Most of all, you’re excited by the idea of seeing your designs out in the wild, influencing what people pick up, sip on, or trust every single day. If you’re ready to take your creativity to the next level and work on brands that people actually care about, we want to hear from you.

Why us?

We’re passionate about our people and their careers. We’ll help you develop your skills and provide you with outstanding benefits. So you’ll have a chance to make your mark on our future, as we make a mark on yours. We’re proud to be the world’s most awarded brand design agency, with 28 Cannes Lions to our name and Creative Review Annual’s Most Creative Design Agency of the Year 2024. You’ll get to take new projects to award-winning potential, as part of a connected team of brilliant, tenacious people right by your side and across the world.

We believe the best work happens when we’re together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That’s why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office around four days a week. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.

Design Bridge and Partners, a WPP company, is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without discrimination or regard to particular characteristics. We are committed to fostering a culture of respect in which everyone feels they belong and has the same opportunities to progress in their careers.

Due to the volume of applications, we unfortunately can only respond to successful candidates.

We will not accept unsolicited CVs or approaches via recruitment agencies.
