A highly creative design studio is looking for a Senior Wayfinding Designer to join their team.

The facts:

You’re a designer first and foremost, with a strong creative eye and a portfolio that shows real concept-led thinking. You’ll work on ambitious, complex cultural and placemaking projects across the UK and internationally, creating wayfinding that is as considered and distinctive as the environments it sits within.

They’re looking for an established Senior or a strong Midweight ready to step up. You’ll have plenty of autonomy, take real ownership of projects, develop your strategic thinking and gain more client-facing experience.

You’ll also need to understand how creative ideas translate into the real world – from technical drawings and specifications through to materials, finishes and manufacture.

It’s a small, highly connected team, so you’ll be hands-on and closely involved in the work, with great visibility across projects and plenty of opportunity to contribute from the big creative idea through to the detail that makes it work.

You’ll be:

• Developing highly creative, concept-led wayfinding and signage design from initial ideas through to delivery.
• Producing, supervising and delivering design systems, guidelines, drawings, and specifications at the conceptual, tender and construction stages.
• Working with the marketing team to create marketing collateral, assets and content to promote the agency’s wayfinding work.
• Involved in the generation of bids and tender documents.
• Joining a friendly, professional and committed team.

You’ll have:

• A passion for creating design systems.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills. 
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• A great understanding of materiality.
