The Studio

An ambitious, fast-paced creative studio delivering high-quality events, experiential activations and creative projects for leading brands across beauty, fashion and lifestyle.

The studio combines creative thinking with meticulous production and operational delivery, with a strong focus on quality, client experience and commercial performance. It is a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment where people are encouraged to take ownership, challenge processes and continually find better ways of working.

The successful candidate will join the senior leadership team and work closely with the wider creative, design, production and commercial functions. This is a hybrid role, with a collaborative studio environment balanced with flexibility to work from home.

The studio is committed to developing its people, fostering an inclusive and energised culture, and creating opportunities for both personal and professional growth.  They are together as a team 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home on the other 2 days.

The Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects and events, acting as the operational and production lead across the business.

You will lead and inspire a high-performing production team, currently comprising seven direct reports, while overseeing a diverse portfolio of live events and creative projects from initial pitch and scoping through to planning, production, live delivery and post-event reconciliation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning end-to-end project delivery, ensuring work is accurately scoped, appropriately resourced and delivered on time, to a high standard and within budget.
  • Providing strategic, operational and production oversight across both pitching and live projects, maintaining rigorous quality control throughout.
  • Leading, managing and developing the production team, including workload allocation, performance, recruitment, freelancer management and long-term team development.
  • Overseeing project budgets, costing, contracts, invoicing and profitability, including approval of significant project spend and supplier negotiations.
  • Acting as the senior production authority, signing off production elements, technical drawings, statements of work, production timelines and on-site delivery.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, production partners and external suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and a consistently high level of client experience.
  • Overseeing pre-production planning, event logistics, documentation and on-site build and delivery.
  • Ensuring all relevant health & safety, insurance and legal requirements are met throughout project delivery.
  • Working closely with creative and design teams to ensure integrated, efficient and seamless project delivery.
  • Driving operational improvements across workflows, processes, documentation and ways of working.
  • Managing project spend and team utilisation, ensuring projects meet agreed commercial and profitability objectives.
  • Supporting business growth by contributing to new business opportunities, pitches and the development of client relationships.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys operating at both strategic and practical levels and who can bring structure, clarity and momentum to a busy creative environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 8+ years’ senior experience in event delivery and multidisciplinary project management, ideally across beauty, fashion, lifestyle, PR, mailers, launches, live activations or experiential campaigns.
  • Proven experience delivering press and influencer events, brand launches and high-profile live experiences, with strong hands-on experience managing set-up, build and on-site delivery.
  • Strong understanding of creative, design and production processes, including production timings, technical requirements, materials and supplier management.
  • Demonstrable operational leadership experience, including managing and developing teams, allocating resources and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding, with experience managing project budgets, costs, supplier negotiations, contracts and profitability.
  • An exceptional eye for detail, high standards of finish and quality, combined with a positive, forward-thinking and collaborative leadership style.
