The Studio
An in-house studio for a global organisation combining expertise in trading, research and technology.
The studio works across the business, shaping how the organisation looks and communicates across departments, programmes, spaces and events. The variety of the work is a key part of what makes the team exciting: designers have the opportunity to work across brand, print, digital, events, recruitment campaigns, physical spaces and more.
A collaborative team of design generalists who enjoy sharing ideas, giving thoughtful feedback and tackling new challenges together. With a focus on curiosity, craft and attention to detail the team is equally comfortable developing a concept from scratch or jumping into a project already underway. They’re together in the studio 3 days a week (non-set) with the opportunity to work from home the rest of the time.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to help translate complex ideas into clear, engaging and visually compelling design.
You’ll work on a broad range of projects, including creating print and digital assets for recruitment campaigns and communications, developing visual identities for conferences and events, bringing puzzles and games to life, creating branded merchandise and packaging, and shaping logos and wider brand systems.
The role offers plenty of variety and the opportunity to work across different formats, audiences and scales. You’ll take projects from initial brief through to final delivery, collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation, and help ensure a consistent and thoughtful visual presence across key projects.
We’re looking for someone who is genuinely curious about complex subject matters and has an enthusiasm for turning interesting, sometimes abstract ideas into strong design.
The Ideal Candidate
- Should have significant design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating work across a range of project types, formats and scales.
- Has excellent visual judgement, with strong foundations in typography, layout and colour, combined with meticulous attention to detail.
- Would need strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at different stages, from initial brief through to final artwork and delivery.
- Has solid production knowledge, including prepress, print and fabrication specifications, and effective handoff to web developers.
- Is highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign – as well as PowerPoint and Google Workspace, especially Slides and Docs.
- Has a collaborative and curious approach, with confidence presenting work, embracing feedback, giving constructive critique, and getting to grips with the ideas and concepts behind each project.
