This role is full-time, 5 days per week and is based in our studio in Málaga, Spain.
Only applicants located in Málaga or with the willingness to relocate will be considered.
We are an ideas focused, interdisciplinary creative setup rooted in global contemporary culture.
We provide forward-thinking ideas, creative strategy, creative direction and production management from concept to execution for a wide range of project types – primarily brand campaigns and experiences (physical and digital).
Please take the time to complete the form, sharing any and as much information as you can to help us learn about you and your experience. All submissions will be reviewed by our team. However, as we expect to receive a high volume of applications, we will only be able to respond to applicants with relevant profiles.
Who we are looking for.
As a Mid Weight Art Director, based in our Málaga office, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Creative Directors, Creative Director and other senior members of the team, as well as other internal FP team members, freelance creatives, clients, and any third-party partners involved.
You are creative, passionate, exceptionally well organised and enjoy finding solutions, whatever the challenge. A natural team player with strong communication skills, you thrive under pressure, embracing change and knowing when and where to be flexible.
Your experiences should have a mix of many creative disciplines, from still and motion photo art direction, to understanding and working against a creative narrative, developing graphic design, and experiential spatial design. The position requires you to possess a strong conceptual process that drives the work forward with a high level of visual communication and organisation. Additionally, it is important to have a clear social media / digital platform understanding, with a passion for working with the latest software, and a knowledge of the different channels and the creative that clearly works into them, whilst driving compelling innovative solutions.
You are a creative expert and connected to the creative industry – critically looking at the latest creative trends in youth culture and have an ever-expanding knowledge and network. You have a wealth of experience when it comes to working directly with creatives, clients and also commissioning work from a varied and broad network of agencies, artists and creative individuals. Whether you’re on set managing the art direction of a shoot, commissioning an illustrator or working with an architect to build a space, you don’t get phased by the unknown – but rather energised by the challenge of learning as you go.
When it comes to communication you are able to digest, edit and circulate the most important information clearly and effectively to various internal and external stakeholders. No matter how complex the project, you always remain clear on priorities and are not afraid to ask for advice where needed. You’re a natural collaborator who knows how to get the best out of everyone. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and you’re not afraid to ask questions when you’re unsure. When things get tricky and you anticipate potential complications, you inform others in good time.
You will be required to deliver high quality work at every stage of the creative process (from concept to execution). Executional excellence, attention to detail and the knowledge to drive this towards execution is a must.
