The Studio

An independent agency specialising in retail brand communications work and delivering transformative, customer focused solutions with both a creative and commercial impact. This is a highly motivated and supportive team with expertise in creative, strategy and client services, working collaboratively to deliver outstanding work for every client. They offer a hybrid set up, spending 3 days a week together in the studio with the flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for an established senior with previous experience working on retail communications and/or hospitality projects to lead and shape the creative direction of an exciting new client account.  You’ll take ownership of projects from ideation and concept stages through to design development and delivery.  The deliverables are largely print based and include seasonal campaigns, brand communications, POS, publications, menus and some digital elements from time to time.  You’ll ideally have experience managing a small to medium sized team of designers and be confident running fast paced retail projects with lots of touchpoints.  Your responsibilities will include working collaboratively with your team to produce creative concepts, curating and presenting design work to the client in a compelling and inspiring way, and guiding your team through the process.

Our Ideal Candidate

Will need significant experience running retail communications projects with multiple touch points.

Is experienced in developing client briefs into highly creative design concepts and outcomes.

Is a confident communicator with impressive presentation skills.

Has managed small-medium sized teams but is equally comfortable contributing ideas and concepts as well as day to day design tasks.

Is a natural mentor and encourages a high level of collaboration within their team thereby elevating the studio’s creative output.
