About InvestEngine

InvestEngine is an ETF investment platform for individuals and businesses. We focus on making investing simple, low-cost and transparent, with a product that customers actually enjoy using. We operate in a regulated environment and put a lot of care into clear, fair communication and a strong customer experience across our app, web, and all customer touchpoints.

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Marketing Designer to strengthen and evolve InvestEngine’s marketing design output.

This role is responsible for setting visual direction for marketing work, evolving how the brand shows up across campaigns and channels, and working closely with Marketing to deliver clear, effective, high-quality design at pace. Success in this role is reflected in stronger campaign output, improved creative consistency, and meaningful contribution to acquisition and brand performance.

You will be the most senior marketing designer in the company. You will sit within the Design team, working alongside product and comms designers to ensure brand consistency across touchpoints, with primary responsibility for marketing creative. Day to day, you will partner closely with Marketing to deliver high-quality campaign work.

In this role, you’ll concept, execute and deliver creative assets across both paid and organic channels. You’ll work closely with the brand, content and performance teams to bring ideas to life that elevate our brand and drive acquisition.

What you’ll do

  • Conceptualise and produce digital creative across digital and print touch points (brand, paid social, partnerships, email, landing pages, OOH, affiliates, organic social).
  • Evolve and refresh the brand within marketing contexts through controlled, thoughtful design decisions.
  • Take responsibility for marketing design work from brief to delivery, ensuring clarity, consistency, and quality.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and deliver on-brand creative that aligns with business goals.
  • Balance quality and speed, making pragmatic decisions about where polish matters most.
  • Contribute to the overall quality of marketing design through feedback and informal review of work.

What we’re looking for

You do not need to tick every box, but most of these should feel close to home:

  • You have strong experience in marketing design, working across campaigns, brand assets, and marketing communications.
  • You are comfortable setting visual direction as well as executing, and can take responsibility for how work looks and lands.
  • You have experience evolving and refreshing a brand within an existing system, rather than starting from scratch.
  • You have good visual judgement and can maintain consistency across different channels and formats.
  • You work independently and can organise your work with minimal direction.
  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive, can-do approach.
  • An interest in investing or personal finance.

Tools and ways of working

  • Advanced proficiency in Figma
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)

Nice to have

  • Experience with motion or video design (After Effects / Premier Pro), such as animated social assets, campaign videos, or light animation work.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as investing.
  • Experience using AI tools in design workflows (e.g. image generation, concept exploration, visual experimentation), with good judgement around when and how to apply them.
  • Interest in fintech, investing, or personal finance, with an understanding of how financial products are communicated to customers.

Practicalities

  • Location: Hybrid, with an expectation of working from the London office 1-2 days per week.
  • Team: Design team, reporting to the Chief Design Officer.
  • Type: Full-time, permanent.
  • Salary: £75,000–£90,000 depending on experience.
