We are looking for a Creative Lead who can push boundaries, elevate our brand, and deliver best-in-class creatives in a highly competitive and regulated industry.

 

Role Overview

The Creative Lead will own the creative direction and execution of Switch Markets’ global marketing output. You will lead multi-channel creative initiatives across paid ads, brand, social media, YouTube, product design alignment, and campaigns.

This role requires someone who is both hands-on and strategic—able to produce high-quality creative work while also guiding a growing team, collaborating closely with the product department, and ensuring visual consistency across every touchpoint.

A strong understanding of the CFD/FX/fintech industry is essential. This is a non-negotiable requirement due to our regulatory environment and the complexity of our product.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Creative Direction & Campaign Leadership

  • Lead the ideation, direction, and production of creative campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube and emerging channels.
  • Drive the creative strategy for acquisition, brand, retention and product-focused campaigns.
  • Translate complex financial products into simple, compelling, compliant messaging and visuals.

Brand & Visual Leadership

  • Oversee and evolve the Switch Markets brand identity across all international markets.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, design, and quality across ads, social media, website, product UI, landing pages and email.
  • Develop brand guidelines and maintain visual discipline across the organisation.

Content & Asset Creation

  • Create or direct production of high-quality visual and motion assets, including videos, graphics, animation, banner ads, and social content.
  • Help drive YouTube content direction (educational, brand, promo, product walkthroughs)
  • Work with internal and external creative partners, agencies, video teams, and freelancers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product to ensure alignment between UI/UX design, landing pages, user flows, ads and social—creating a fully unified experience.
  • Collaborate with performance marketing teams to develop creative that converts, experimenting with formats, messaging, and psychological triggers.
  • Work with compliance to ensure creative assets meet regulatory standards.

Data-Driven Creative Strategy

  • Use data, testing and market insights to guide creative decisions and constantly iterate.
  • Monitor performance metrics, brand impact indicators, engagement analytics and campaign results.
  • Drive a test-and-learn culture within the creative and marketing function.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Manage and mentor designers, video editors, contractors or future creative hires.
  • Oversee external agencies and ensure they meet expectations for quality and deadlines.
  • Balance strategy and hands-on production—leading by example.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years working within the fintech, CFD, FX, crypto or broker industry (non-negotiable).
  • Portfolio demonstrating high-quality creative work (applications without a portfolio will not be considered).
  • Proven experience creating and directing multi-channel campaigns for regulated financial products.
  • Strong understanding of how creative impacts performance marketing (CTR, CPA, ROAS) and user behaviour
  • Hands-on expertise with design tools (Figma, Adobe Suite, video editing tools, motion graphics tools).
  • Experience working closely with paid media teams to develop creative for Meta Ads, Google Ads, YouTube and display networks.
  • Deep understanding of social media trends (IG, TikTok, YouTube, X) and experience producing platform-specific content.
  • Strong branding skills—able to strengthen and evolve a global brand identity.
  • Experience with UX/UI principles, landing page optimisation and product-led design thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills; able to articulate creative concepts clearly to marketing, product, compliance and leadership teams.
  • Experience managing small teams, freelancers or agencies.

Essentials 

  • Experience with AI-powered creative tools (image generation, video editing, automation).
  • Experience with international localisation for multi-geo marketing.
  • Exposure to expo design, booth visuals, presentations and event branding.
  • Understanding of trader psychology and what resonates with retail trading audiences.
