About Made by Many
Made by Many is an award-winning strategic digital product partner based in London.
We work with Fortune 500 companies, global NGOs, and leading start-ups around the world to co-create breakthrough digital products & experiences.
We believe in Change by Making. This is our tested approach to solving tough problems by building working prototypes early and getting them in front of real people. By making things instead of just talking about them, we generate better insights and ideas faster. This hands-on method leads to standout products that create genuine value.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a Junior Designer Intern with a flair for graphic design and the desire to grow into a product design role.
You will join a cross-disciplinary team that puts design at the centre of everything it does and encourages exploration, experimentation, and transparent discussion. This might be your first role, or you may have some experience already – we’re more interested in your curiosity and potential than your job history. We value a growth mindset over a perfect portfolio.
Upon completion of the internship, there will be an opportunity to join Made by Many as a full-time product designer.
Who you are
- You have a strong foundation in design fundamentals — form, colour, typography — and can demonstrate this in your portfolio.
- You’re passionate about design and technology, and how they come together to solve real-world problems.
- You have the desire to create thoughtful, sustainable digital products and services
- You’re always looking to learn and improve — both your craft and how you work with others.
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
- You communicate clearly, whether presenting work or explaining your process
- You collaborate well with others
- You’re excited by a dynamic, non-traditional consultancy environment, working across different industries and challenges.
What You’ll Do
- You will initially work closely with the growth team to develop ideas and create visual concepts for various business development and marketing campaigns
- Create graphic assets for digital and physical marketing materials
- Take responsibility for delivering high-quality designs, on time and to spec
- Stay curious and up-to-date with evolving design tools, trends and technologies.
- Familiarise yourself with the digital product development methods and processes through immersion
Requirements
- You’ve studied design in a way that relates to digital products or services
- You have strong graphic design skills
- You can visually communicate complex concepts and tell compelling stories
- You can show a portfolio that highlights your thinking, process as well as strong sense of aesthetics and taste
- You have a strong interest and desire to transition into digital product design
- You’re based in (or able to commute to) London and can work from our studio 4 days a week, 9am–6pm.
- You able to do a timeboxed design exercise as part of the application process
Working with Us
Our people are smart, kind, and ambitious, not just about their own work, but the work we do together. We collaborate in small, empowered teams and support each other to do the best work of our lives.
We embrace change and uncertainty, thrive on new challenges, and always put the team’s success before individual credit. Whether we’re exploring an unfamiliar product space or solving a tough design challenge, we show up with curiosity, creativity, and care.
We’re proud of our inclusive, friendly culture and love finding moments to connect — whether over lunch, at our summer party by the canal, or down by the beach.
