Overview
Social Media Manager – responsible for the delivery of our social media and community
campaign, the heart and soul of Lost In Cult (LIC) and the face of the company to our fans and
customers.
Working under the guidance of the Marketing Director to deliver our messaging via our social
platforms (Twitter/X, Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram), manage and engage with our communities
(Discord), send out key communication newsletters (Mailchimp), set up social media based ads
(Meta, etc) and sync with other members of the team for synergy across our public channels.
Responsibilities
Social Media
● Managing and overseeing our social media channels, creating, writing and scheduling daily
content promoting the company’s products and brand.
● Creating and implementing social media campaigns, tailored to each project’s individual
style and requirements.
● Maintaining a social media calendar, co-ordinating and posting content that is timely and
relevant.
● Liaising with the design and visual team to create visual assets, schedule launch videos,
marketing videos and other product-related videos.
● Liaising with the Brand and Content Producer to post their output across social channels
not covered by their remit.
● Creating and updating company social media profile pictures and banners, reflecting
current flagship projects.
● Monitoring social media analytics, reporting findings to the Marketing Director.
● Engaging with our community on platforms such as Discord.
● Interacting with posts adjacent to LIC’s brand or directly promoting the LIC brand.
Social Media Advertising
● Overseeing advertising campaigns. Creating, writing and scheduling product
advertisements across Meta, X, YouTube, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
● Monitoring and reporting advertising campaign performance.
Additional
● Creating newsletters with updates on LIC’s products and product launches.
● Maintaining a presence at industry events for brand and personal growth and networking.
● Liaising with the Brand and Content Producer to cover events on social media.
Qualifications / Experience
● Proven experience in social media management
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create compelling
narratives that engage audiences.
● Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms to track
performance.
● Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate fresh ideas for
content.
● Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects
simultaneously.
