The role:

e are seeking a talented and creative Junior Digital Designer to join our team. With a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of digital design principles, you’ll work closely with the Senior Digital Designer to adapt global campaign creative and roll it out across all digital channels. You’ll create high-quality assets for Molton Brown’s platforms and third-party partners, ensuring brand consistency and excellence in every design.

What you will do:

  • Working with the Senior Digital Designer to create pixel perfect & engaging assets for our global website: homepage designs for campaign and promotional launches, website sign-posting and traffic drivers, landing pages & editorial pages.
  • Supporting the digital marketing channels to drive engagement and conversion through assets such as display & affiliate banners, social cover images, posts & stories. Design animated assets including GIFs and short-form video to enhance storytelling and capture audience attention across platforms.
  • Work closely with CRM team and Digital Designer to design weekly marketing emails in Figma, ensuring layouts are visually engaging, on-brand, and optimised for mobile and desktop. Maintain consistency in visual style while incorporating fresh creative to support launches, campaigns, and key trading moments.
  • Support the rollout of campaign assets across multiple 3rd party retailer websites globally, ensuring a consistent and premium Molton Brown brand presence across all platforms. This includes bringing seasonal and promotional campaigns to life on retailer brand pages through thoughtfully designed digital assets. You’ll work closely with Brand Managers to ensure all creative aligns with global guidelines and maintains the integrity of the brand across every touchpoint.
  • Act as brand guardian and protect the use of the Molton Brown name, logo, marks, visual identity and key equities across all digital platforms.
  • Stay up to date with digital design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh, innovative ideas. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and team meetings with creative input.

What you will need:

  • Design-related degree / equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Portfolio showcasing digital design work (emails, website, animated content)
  • Competent use of Adobe design suite, previous experience with Figma preferable.
  • Experience working with animated GIFs for social and video editing
  • Have s strong understanding of digital design for a retail environment and experience of working in a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent skills in Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, CMS  as well as Outlook, Word, Acrobat Pro, Excel &Power Point is beneficial.
  • The ability to manage a fluctuating workload of simultaneous projects while delivering projects in line with brief, the brand and established deadlines while keeping stakeholders up to date on project status.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the confidence to present at all levels of the business. The ability to take feedback in a positive way and use it constructively to further develop creative.
