Title: Creative Director

An experiential marketing agency specialising in exhibitions and events is looking for a Creative Director.
 
The facts:
You’re looking for an opportunity to join an established (30+ years), well regarded, independent agency. You want to really grab hold of a creative team and lead it. You can challenge the status quo and suggest improvements that will take their creative offer to the next level.
 
You have a great understanding of exhibitions, events, and trade shows, and generally how to design for a space. You know how to incorporate technology in your design and make an experience truly immersive and innovative. A wall doesn’t have to be a brick wall – it could be a screen, glass, it could spin, or even be a hologram! You have the amazing concept, and the delivery team is brilliant at making it come to life.
 
You’ll be the founder’s right-hand person, and with this power comes great responsibility. You can not only come up with concepts – you can also explain your reasoning behind them and take others on the journey to truly understand why something will work. 
 
There will be a certain amount of travel involved both within the UK and internationally, so hopefully that’s something you’d look forward to!
 
You’ll be:

• Working closely with the founder to improve the creative offer.
• Heading a team of designers.
• Hands on some of the time, with a great team to delegate to when needed.
• Obsessed by the whole customer experience, during and after the event.

 
You’ll have:

• 5-10+ years designing for spaces (exhibitions, shows etc.)
• Experience in 3D spatial design and knowledge of 3D software.
• Broad knowledge of materiality and the build process.
• Highly curious around software and trends for digital experiences.
• The ability to keep a cool head under pressure.
• Ambition and practicality in equal measures.
