Berkmann Wine Cellars are proud to be the largest family owned and family-run wine importer in the UK. We’ve been selling premium wine since 1964 and our expertise has grown along with our portfolio. The wineries we represent are like us – progressive and fiercely independent and we sell their delicious wines to our ever growing customer base which includes both the on and off trade.

The Role

Working within the Design Team based in London, this unique position will provide the necessary inhouse design talent across the creative spectrum, supporting the creation of credible consumer recognised brands for Berkmann Wine Cellars and Spirit Cartel.

The appointed candidate will work with the Head of Design supporting the Marketing and NPD project team in the visual aspects of the many steps to bring a brand to market, from conceptual work through brand hierarchy, pack design, marketing & communication tools.

The applicant should have a proven track record of delivering outstanding work, that separates good design from great. Premiumisation and luxury is paramount, not only must you understand it, but live and breathe it. 

This is a wonderful opportunity for a branding/packaging designer, either with existing experience in wine/spirits or luxury goods, with a genuine desire to transition into this exciting and rewarding sector. Working Pattern:

This role is 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day Monday to Friday (plus an unpaid break of 1 hour)

Our London office is based in Clerkenwell. The Company is currently operating a hybrid work pattern, with a mixture of work from home/office. You will be required to work from the office 3 days a week and this is subject to change.
