Raspberry Circle is an app studio focused on the health and wellbeing space. We create products that take what we know about consumer psychology and use that to help people build healthy habits through simple products. Established in 2019, we’ve raised over $4m and our app have over 1 million downloads.We’ve been featured in Vogue, BBC, The Guardian, Vice and Cosmopolitan.

We’re a small and close team that like to move fast and solve problems together, where everyone has a voice. Our latest product that you’ll be working on is a Tamagotchi-like game to help with anxiety (though obviously it doesn’t die…that would not be very anxiety-relieving :P).

The Role

We’re seeking a talented mid-senior level animator/illustrator to be our studio’s sole animator. You’ll collaborate closely with our UX/UI designer to create captivating visual assets that enrich the game, weaving in delightful animations and stunning illustrations to bring the characters and world to life. We need a self-starter that knows what they’re doing and can hit the ground running without much guidance.

Core Responsibilities:

* Conceptualize unique ideas for characters and game worlds that align with our vision.

* Create visually striking illustrations as directed by the Lead Designer.

* Develop captivating animations from initial sketches to final completion.

Experience & Skills:

*3-5 years of experience working in an animation studio.

*Bachelor’s Degree in illustration/animation

*Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects (Premiere Pro & Lottie files a bonus)

*Strong creative imagination with the ability to conceive and build immersive worlds.

*Proficiency in designing animations that tell compelling stories.

*Familiarity with casual games is a plus.
