We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for an Associate Interior Designer to join us in our support office in London to support in the leadership if our internal in-house design and project management team. Working on global projects (various sizes and budgets) including full restaurant fit outs, refurbishments, pop ups, beach clubs, ski locations for 4 restaurant brands – Zuma, Roka, Oblix and Inko Nito.

What you will do:

• Lead in-house interior design projects from inception to completion ensuring they suit the brand DNA’s

• Working with external design companies managing outcomes, providing design briefs, and reviewing work to ensure projects are approved by our founder, satisfy internal operational requirements and are on budget (working alongside the Construction Project managers team)

• Ensure timely delivery of projects

• Managing senior, mid-level and junior designers

• Creating design presentations and architectural drawings/detailing

• Design / oversee the design of bespoke furniture, including decorative lighting

• Develop / oversee detailed specifications and schedules

• Involved in shortlisting prospective new sites for brand expansion, alongside the MD and CEO

• Collaborate with external consultants, architects, construction teams for successful project outcomes

• Facilitate smooth communication and information flow within the design team and cross departments. Assist in resolving project issues providing practical solutions

• Conduct quality checks during site stages to ensure delivery meets quality and expectations

What we require from you:

• Qualification in architecture or interior architecture

• Minimum 10 years’ post qualification experience with proven previous experience of delivering high-end restaurant schemes

• An exceptional eye for detail and passion for the industry

• Creative, dynamic, ambitious and enthusiastic personality

• Well versed knowledge of construction process on site to understand full build fit outs

• AutoCad proficient

• Ability to use Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

• Articulate presentation skills both face to face as well as virtually

• Great overall understanding of material suppliers. Ability to develop and prototype new finishes and materials that are unique for the brand

• Hand sketching skills are a massive plus

• Availability for international travel
