The Studio

Creative communications agency seeks a CD [copy] to join with their creative leadership team and take responsibility for the visual output of the studio. 

This is an independent central London studio – a full service creative business working with a range of global clients. You will work closely with a CD Art Director and as part of the close- knit design team.

The Opportunity

Part of the senior agency team you will contribute to the direction of the business, new biz development and growing opportunities with current clients. You will be driven by the search for the big idea in even the smallest brief and be a master wordsmith crafting powerful and engaging messaging and narrative. You will be a strategic thinker, excelling at the brand challenges and positioning projects. As well as this you will be a big idea campaign creator. Projects will include campaign, tone of voice, naming and brand positioning.  We are looking for someone who is big ideas driven, conceptually strong, understands the requirements of brand AND campaigns. You will need to be strategic thinking, go beyond the brief and really push the work into new and innovative areas. 

The Ideal Candidate

• An impressive portfolio of multi-channel work. 
• Commercially focused with experience working within a creative leadership team. 
• Extensive experience developing concepts for brand identity ideas and advertising campaigns. The ability to think across brand world as well as ad focused. 
• Leadership skills in order to hire, develop and oversee a small creative team.
• Excellent communications skills [written and verbal] and confident presentation skills in order to pitch ideas to clients or directors and explain ideas to the internal creative team. 
• A clear creative vision while remaining open to others ideas.
• Experience running workshops and building brand positioning as well as creative activation. 
• A collaborative, ambitious leader.
