Working in the Internal Communications team at Sky puts you right at the heart of the business. Part of the Corporate Affairs function, we’re amongst the first to know about new products, forthcoming TV shows and the next pivotal moment in the sports calendar. Our people are also our customers – and our biggest advocates – so it’s important that they understand and champion the innovations and amazing content that Sky produces. It’s our job to bring that to life for them. It’s also critical that they feel connected to the business, our leaders and understand their contribution to the success of the business and our culture.

What you’ll do:

  • Be an active member of the Internal Communications Creative team bringing Sky’s big moments to life
  • You’ll work as part of a wider team on creative presentations for the Executive team, plus internal campaigns, corporate communications and events.
  • You’ll support the creative team in producing a range of creative print, digital and video solutions, including keynote presentations, infographics, press packs, plus creative executions for internal campaigns.
  • Your work will be seen in internal and external channels, including leadership and media events, in Sky’s sites across the country, in digital owned channels and more.
  • You’ll work closely with Sky teams which span Internal Communications focused on people, leadership and campaigns, plus Corporate Affairs and Sky Creative colleagues as well as external suppliers.
  • You’ll attend team meetings where we reflect on our activity and business priorities, sharing your work and contributing to reviews and brainstorms.
  • You’ll support and contribute towards effective and efficient ways of working across the creative team and wider processes

What you’ll bring:

  • Multiple years design experience, specifically presentation design and graphic design experience, working in-house or agency-side in design.
  • Skills to support the team in producing a range of creative print and digital solutions, presentation design, animated graphics, infographics and video.
  • You’ll meet essential minimum requirements: PowerPoint/Keynote, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and setting up artwork for print. Your portfolio should reflect these skills.
  • Additional skills in After Effects and Cinema 4D would be advantageous but not essential
  • You’ll be proficient at artworking to assist the team in delivering assets for print and working to brand guidelines
  • A positive can-do attitude and a team player approach who is just as willing to contribute new ideas to our creative briefs as focusing on smaller scale tasks and outputs.
  • You should be used to working closely with a creative lead and other designers and be comfortable taking advice and guidance as well as presenting your work.
  • Ability to work cross-departmentally with strong relationship building skills.
  • A natural great teammate with good communication skills and the ability to work easily with others.
  • The desire and ability to work and deliver at pace in a fast-moving, exciting environment.
  • Administrative skills with interest to support the smooth running of the work and department.
  • A track record of getting projects delivered on time with great time management skills and governance

Being part of Internal Comms is a varied, exciting and uplifting experience that is fast-paced and exciting. If you love being at the centre of things, thrive on bringing things to life in ways that surprises and delights people and want the creative freedom to try new things, then our team is the place for you.
