We are Carbon Creative, an award-winning branding and digital agency, proudly marking 21 years in the industry.

Recently, we’ve made the exciting transition to become an employee-owned company. A creatively focused studio, we consider ourselves to be at the intersection of art / design, technology and sustainability.

We’re expanding our creative team and we’re on the lookout for a permanent Creative Graphic Designer / Artworker, an individual who embodies creative thinking, loves to carefully craft their artwork and has exquisite attention to detail.

You’ll be working within our design team to create beautiful branding, compelling campaigns and magical motion.
 

A bit about you:

You are an experienced designer who has a proven skill set for working on multiple creative projects, demonstrating excellence in your portfolio of work. You love working on diverse projects for a wide range of ambitious clients, across multiple channels.

You’ll enjoy working in our multi-disciplined agency environment with the opportunity to collaborate on creative projects such as brand guidelines, advertising, campaigns, digital marketing assets, brochures and reports.

You’ll learn our processes and contribute your own, working closely with our Creative Director, Senior Designers and Account Management teams.

What we are looking for:

• Great portfolio with examples of work that you have taken the lead on. We’ll want you to talk through your portfolio with us and discuss the rationale and reasoning behind the work.
• Exceptional artworking skills including pixel perfect digital layouts and general concepts of printing processes and methods.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with a particular focus on Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Knowledge and/or interest in After Effects and Figma a definite advantage.
• Creatively diverse skill set and a high-level ability in visual identity development, layout design and final executed artwork, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, confidently developing creative projects from the initial brief through to final production.
• Open communication and collaboration to meet established standards, budgets and tight deadlines.
• Great presentation skills, willing and confident in communicating with clients independently.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of creating accessible designs to accessibility standards such as WCAG2.x.
• A proactive attitude to awareness of design and industry trends, with a view to bringing those to the attention of others.
