Job title: Presentation Designer (Mid-weight)

Team: Chorus

Level: 3a (Account Manager equivalent)

Reports to: Lead Designer, ECD

Position Summary:

Our studio is looking for a Presentation / PowerPoint Designer. This candidate will work within our design team, liaising closely with our internal account teams, our marketing team and external clients and will participate in all stages of the creative process to conceptualise and create assets that bring the program strategy to life in a variety of media. Consulting, conceptualising and executing design briefs across the agency.

You will advise on creative approaches, layout and format, and will oversee every aspect of production from briefings to sign-off. There may be times when you are required to participate in meetings and advise clients directly, as well as educating/managing stakeholders within the business including client leads and fellow creatives. From a new business perspective, you will play an active role in ideation, developing concepts and visual treatments to help bring our ideas to life, as well as conceptualising and formatting key PowerPoint decks.

Must Haves

– Expert level knowledge of PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite

– Proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)

– Some knowledge in using video editing, animation and stop-motion photography software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, Filmora by Wondershare, Camtasia)

– Day to day design including powerful visual storytelling using a mix of digital, social and video; designing and producing highly creative, impactful, PowerPoint presentations for new business pitches and client presentations; design for client/agency collateral (social graphics/infographics/brochures/etc.) as well as social media content for multiple channels

– Juggle multiple assignments and work in a high-pressure environment

– Manage time and establish priorities while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands

– Liaise with account teams to ensure creative work is efficiently and effectively delivered

– Liaise with printers and relevant suppliers

– Sharp eye for layout consistency for format, and amazing attention to detail

– Regularly update knowledge on design trends

– A qualification in Graphic Design

– At least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency setting

– A portfolio reflecting experience in presentations, infographics, digital/interactive, advertising and print design

– Strong verbal communication skills

– Ability to ideate and bring creative ideas to clients and campaigns

– Ability to work cross-functionally and with a fast-paced team

– Keen attention to detail

– Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

– Ability to own projects, demonstrate good judgment when working with team members and client contacts, and take initiative
