The role

This Engagement Director will have a proven track record of delivery and commercial experience, heading up squads and managing a portfolio of complex digital Client programs. You will also have the autonomy to build a high-performing team under your direction around the Client needs.

 

You will work closely with discipline heads from strategy, product design, tech and dedicated squad members to create a culture of people first, client centricity and delivery success. From inception to completion, you will mentor Project Managers to successfully deliver for our Clients, with the objective of growing the portfolio of accounts.

 

You will manage a program’s internal and client-facing elements, stay on top of program execution and contribute to shaping and evolving this structure.

You will own a revenue and growth target and support Business Development efforts within your account portfolio, proactively looking for and closing opportunities, leading delivery approaches and scoping efforts and actively engaging in Client presentations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Engagement:

  • Engage clients through business development activities and programs by leading or contributing to pitch meetings, defining program approaches, and speaking to 383’s capabilities.
  • Responsible for ongoing client satisfaction. Manage client relationships (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalation, feedback, etc.) Develop relationships with, and ensure the appropriate participation of, key client stakeholders and client executives.
  • Responsible for growing the account from a revenue perspective, working alongside the discipline leads to spot new opportunities and pitch them, speaking to 383’s capabilities, creating scopes and defining program approaches.
  • Definition and execution of a now, next, later strategy for your POD and client, and holding the wider team accountable for delivering this thinking
  • Work with commercial to oversee the successful onboarding of new clients into your portfolio

Delivery:

  • Be responsible for delivery oversight of programs, collaborating with other discipline leads on program planning and direction.
  • Leverage deep project management expertise, including management of project scope, schedule, issues, risks, communication cadence, as well as team and client relationships, to ensure that assigned programs are delivered on-time, on-budget and with high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide timely updates on performance of Client programs via Dashboard including utilisation, revenue (recognition and performance against forecast), client satisfaction, forecasting, SOW’s.
  • Work with Finance & Operations to ensure quarterly revenue and margin objectives are met.
  • Work with the company to ensure quarterly sales and growth targets are met

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in consulting, agency, or industry-related experience with exceptional abilities in program delivery, with excellent experience delivering design and build engagements.
  • Adept at quickly navigating organisational complexities
  • Flexible thinker, highly adaptable, and able to juggle competing priorities with ease
  • Previous team management responsibilities with the ability to develop and mentor junior talent.
  • Demonstrable experience managing medium to large-size teams of cross-discipline resources with complex, multi-location programs, while maintaining budget.
  • Understanding of project management and solution delivery tools and methodologies, with proven ability to manage project scope, project teams, and client expectations.
  • Experience in business development practices, including contract writing, negotiation, and a commitment to contract compliance.
  • Demonstrable experience in growing Client revenue through delivery excellence.
  • Superb verbal, written, presentation, organisational and interpersonal communication skills coupled with responsiveness and follow-through on details.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and enable cohesiveness across diverse individual skills and styles.
  • Experience in business development practices, including pitches, presentation, contract writing and negotiation.
