JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Our Company

Caramel is an independently owned London based fashion house founded in 1999. We design childrenswear, teens wear, womenswear and home. We operate three flagship stores In London Japan, Paris and three concessions in Harrods, Selfridges and Isetan and partner with approximately 100 select wholesalers internationally.

Role Purpose

We are seeking a junior graphic designer to assist in creating and executing the visual identity for Caramel, with a focus on digital platforms. You will work under the guidance of the senior designer to carry out design tasks and direction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Graphic Design support for on-line channels.
• Create organic and paid social media content for various platforms.
• Keeping Pinterest up to date weekly to share all the content, drive traffic.
• Daily managing social, sharing images daily, engaging with customers / followers, resharing, commenting on posts.
• Making regular reels in the shops, and promoting the stores, concessions, all the different categories.
• Design weekly marketing emails.
• Arrange gifting.
• Understand direction and create mood boards for pop-up shops and events.
• Design window displays and provide assets for visual merchandising.
• Design textile prints.
• Support with shoots, organising. 
• Support with image resizing. 
• Communicating and copywriting.
• Support with collaborations.
• 25 year anniversary – support with events and ongoing planning including content.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of graphic design experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital design abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Attention to detail, team player, and self-starter.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites and Mac OSX.
