Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Midweight or Senior Graphic Designer to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in creating high-quality, on-brand report and presentation documents that effectively communicate key messages and information related to our work. Working under the Head of Creative, you will also be involved in maintaining our brand guidelines and ensuring all company-wide brand communications adhere to these guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent typographic and layout skills, along with a deep understanding of data visualisations and data storytelling, and can work quickly and efficiently to often tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Create visually compelling and on-brand report and presentation documents that effectively communicate key messages and information.
  • Develop and maintain our brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all communication channels.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences for report and presentation design.
  • Create and maintain the company Microsoft Office report and presentation templates (in Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Provide support and guidence for the company in using branded templates and documents.
  • Deliver internal training sessions and act as point of contact for Word and Powerpoint user queries, working to raise the overall quality of reports and presentations across TGSN.
  • Work closely with the business development team to ensure that all brand communications align with our brand guidelines.
  • Use excellent typographic and layout skills to create visually appealing and professional materials.
  • Utilise data visualisation techniques to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices, incorporating new ideas to continuously improve our report and presentation documents.
  • Assist in creating visual assets for other marketing materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including project managers, researchers and analysts to gather information and understand the requirements of a particular project.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks accordingly.
  • Work independently.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Graphic Design, Graphic Communication Design or other closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years design experience
  • Proven experience in graphic design, specifically in creating multi-page report and presentation documents to a high standard and to a deadline.
  • Deep understanding of design principles; typography, hierarchy, layout, colour theory etc.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign at a minimum).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
  • Strong knowledge and interest in data visualisation techniques, infographics, and data storytelling.
  • Proficiency in using software of your choice to create fully on-brand and bespoke graphs and charts for use in reports and presentations.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining brand guidelines.
  • Illustration and icon design skills are also highly beneficial in this role.

    Fully Remote or Hybrid working 1–2 days a week in our office in Victoria, London.
    Salary based on experience £35,000–£55,000
