We’re looking for a Senior graphic designer to inspire the team and clients with creativity, energy, and strategic thinking. Someone who loves a challenge and wants to help brands develop and grow.

At Public we deliver design at scale for global brands and great startups. Our work spans the digital and physical, and we work across a range of creative disciplines and deliverables. We combine talent, with purpose-built teams, across Strategy, Branding, Interiors and Digital. Our process is to understand the brands we work with and find a solution to activate it in their world, building a solid visual language that connects with the Public.

About the role

Your role will be the engine at the heart of the creative process. We want you to spark ideas and create design solutions that can challenge, inspire our clients and creative team. At a stage in your career, you will have the ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients, embedding yourself in a collaborative culture to help with creative output and business growth. You are strong in strategic problem solving, branding and have the knowledge and experience of implementing a brand into the environment – This is essential. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director ensuring project vision and quality is maintained whilst also taking the lead on projects in the studio.

About you – What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ design agency experience
• Have a Bachelor of Arts degree in design, communication design/ equivalent professional qualification/ work experience in graphic design or branding.
• Knowledge in creative/design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, motion graphics, Sketch, 3D, Cinema 4D, Flash, or HTML/CSS.
• You’re confident, hardworking and diligent, ready to take responsibility and ownership of your workload, with a can-do, hands-on approach.
• You’re looking for somewhere to share your experience and be an integral part of this owner-run and directed business.
• You are keen to develop new business and strengthen existing business to build something more significant for our collective future.
• You’re organised, driven and determined to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
• You have excellent management skills and a desire to help the Creative Director develop and mentor the design team.
