Our brand and internal design are an extension of this and integral to the success of the practice. This is a very creative and diverse role within a branded framework. The chosen candidate will be working with three graphic designers, two in-house writers and a photographer, as well as the wider Communications team.

The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and have a minimum two years’ of relevant experience, with strong digital experience and a desire to innovate using different software. This role will be key to bringing our project portfolio to life in an animated medium, from concept to completion, and will involve working closely with project architects.

Start date is as soon as possible.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Creating animated graphics.
  • Designing digital presentations for Mac and PC.
  • Providing architects with design assistance where needed.
  • Creating and updating marketing and promotional materials.
  • Designing promotional items.
  • Providing technical support for Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
  • Designing webpages and websites where needed.

Design experience and skills required:

  • A content-relevant, up-to-date professional portfolio demonstrating:
    o Website and animation design.
    o A keen eye for detail.
    o Well-executed work with typography.
    o Creative design solutions for relevant briefs.
  • Fluency in After Effects, Cinema 4D or equivalent software, Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and PowerPoint.

It would be also beneficial to have some of the following:

  • Familiarity with the architectural design process.
  • A keen interest in the urban environment.
  • Experience working with writers and editors/proofreaders.
  • Experience working with photographers.
  • Experience working within a collaborative design team.
  • Experience taking projects from concept to completion.
  • Knowledge and understanding of front-end digital design for web and apps.
  • Knowledge and understanding of website programming.
