Part-time: 3 day per week role based either remotely or at our office in Hampton. Salary £30,000-£32,000 pro rata.

Out of the Ark Music is the UK’s leading publisher of songs in primary education. We’ve been producing singing products, nativities, musicals and training for teachers for over 30 years. We love what we do! Singing, and its vital importance for every child’s education, is our true passion!

You are an ambitious, conceptual designer full of creative energy and positivity! You will be at the heart of design, creativity and output within the Marketing Team and will bring ideas, energy and solid design skills to any task, from concept development to implementation. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and help shape how our customers see our brand.

In consultation with our Head of Marketing and Senior Designer you’ll be responsible for creative design across a broad range of marketing projects including print communication, advertising, design for web, social media assets, animations and supporting concept development for video/photo shoots.

You’ll see a marketing design project from concept, design, production, completion and delivery in collaboration with the wider Design team, ensuring the Company’s brand identity standards, ethos and guidelines are maintained. You’ll be able to deliver projects in a timely manner proactively and sometimes reactively and you’ll be keen to be up to date with the latest design trends. You will interrogate and challenge thinking, in a positive way, that brings creative flair to all our marketing comms.

Along with our Senior Designer, you will help manage a Junior Designer/Artworker who will be working across all departments.

You will have excellent Indesign, Illustrator & Photoshop skills with a keen eye for detail and typography. A solid understanding of the printing process is also required.

After Effects skills are desirable but not crucial. Some experience of web design using Sketch would be beneficial plus an understanding of UI/UX good practice.

You should have at least 4 years’ experience in a design role.
