As a Digital Designer at Cliff Studio you will be the creative heart of the business – an area previously supplemented by freelancers. Working with a small and fully remote team, you’ll collaborate closely with our strategist on the first stages of a project and then with our developer to bring your designs to life. You’ll have the opportunity to create forward-thinking, intelligent websites for clients across different industries, and sometimes for brand agencies and their clients.

About us

Cliff Studio is a small digital agency based in Liverpool. Founded by a developer, coding is at the heart of what we do and we’re now looking for a talented digital designer to create bold, thoughtful websites for our clients. Our team is fully remote and we’ll consider overseas applicants if the timezone is reasonably similar to GMT.

The Responsibilities:

• Brainstorm ideas and solutions with the team
• Create pitch decks for clients that fulfil the design brief in thoughtful and innovative ways
• Work closely with our developer to ensure design integrity during the development phase
• Participate in client meetings, presenting design concepts and gathering feedback
• Keep up with industry trends, technology and creative benchmarks to ensure our websites always feel exciting and fresh

The Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a web designer
• Firm understanding of design principles and exceptional eye for detail
• Self-motivated, fast working and able to work effectively on a remote basis
• Native in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Willing to learn and adapt to new trends and tools
• Confident in communicating design ideas with credibility and authority
• Some brand design experience would be useful but not essential
• Interest in type design would also be great to see – it’s a skill we could help develop in line with our future ambitions as an agency.

The Perks:

• Work fully remotely
• £30-35k, negotiable for the right applicant
