Digital Frontier is a new tech-focused media and events company, based in London, that steps beyond the daily news cycle to produce deeply reported stories on the future of business, finance, and culture. We’re currently building out our team, before launching in late Jan 2024.
The Graphic Designer will report directly to the Design Director. The successful applicant would be expected to work at least three days a week from our office in central London.
Digital Frontier’s creative output will consist of editorial design, online website and print illustration, event design, online advertising (banners, MPU’s), native content, marketing design.

Responsibilities
● Creating illustrations for both online and print narratives
● Generating marketing and event collateral
● Editorial design
● GIF animations
● Working collaboratively with the Design Director
Skills
● Able to think creatively and generate innovative design ideas
● Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
● Proficiency in Adobe After Effects or Premier Pro highly advantageous
● Strong understanding in the principles of typography
● Excellent understanding of layout and composition
● Understanding the principles of print including a little knowledge of repro
● Ability to design graphics that effectively communicate a message
● Proficiency in digital illustration and generating original artwork
● Attention to detail and excellent time management
● Able to manage several projects at a time
● Adaptable and genuine interest to new design trends
● Ability to generate gif animations
● Ability to generate more complex animations would be highly desirable
Salary Range
● Up to £30,000
