Salary range: £30k – £40k

The speed read

The chance to build on a strong start in the creative industry, deepen and broaden your skill set in a well-established b2b independent 30 strong design agency.

The facts

You will have spent 2 or 3 years since you graduated, developing as a solid generalist graphic designer. You’re ready for a step up. The agency works with a lot of content and messaging and they will value you as someone who can suggest different ways to tell a story. Typical work for the agency is business communications: reports, websites, campaigns, identities and other brand communications that include a growing amount of motion graphics work. The agency are currently opening their clients eyes to the possibilities of telling stories in more fragmented and interesting ways that get attention from different audiences who look at messages in different places. It’s an exciting time.

You’ll have

  • A folio that shows a variety of beautiful graphic design work that includes layout, some editorial, identity or campaign/brand communications. Any moving image experience, however limited, would be fantastic.
  • A good understanding of layout, grids and typography but you are also really interested in how you can practically animate your ideas and bring movement to your conceptual thinking. So you have some understanding of After Effects (2d/3d) and would love to develop in this area. You will be fully supported by the CD and other seniors to do this. Your new ideas will be embraced.
  • The chance to work with and learn from a smallish team of super experienced typographers and craft focused designers as well as really strategic thinkers in the broader team.

  You’ll be

  • Perhaps someone who has started off in graphic design but sees your future career in more motion work and you want a safe and encouraging place to learn this
  • OR someone who loves variety and enjoys a mix of graphic and motion
  • A veritable sponge for learning and soaking up new ways to do things and tell business stories
  • Really keen to get noticed for your work and progress
  • Happy to go into a lovely studio (3 days per week) and learn from others

Title: Midweight Designer

Job Type: Permanent

Job Hours: Full time

Location: Hybrid (3 days Tues, Weds and Thurs in studio, central London)

Salary range: Up to £40k dependant on experience

The speed read:

Get the chance to work with and learn from best-in-class brand thinkers and do-ers.

The facts:

Collaboration is easily said, but here it is meaningful; whether that’s how this branding consultancy works with their clients on brand and business problems or how you work internally together as a small, focused, thoughtful team to solve the client challenge.

This agency makes early and deep connections with their client’s brand implementers on the ground, to make sure that what they have created helps the business in a tangible way, whether that is growing sustainably, getting genuine, long-lasting engagement, clear momentum in expressing the brand or embracing big change. They work with global businesses (a lot in Europe), so you can develop your international understanding of brands and businesses too.

Day to day, you’ll be designing identities and brand toolkits and systems, websites, layouts and other design elements. If you have any motion experience you can use it here, or you can learn it here. In fact, here you will have the space to develop your own interests in brand expression. The agency doesn’t pitch, the projects are long term and you can settle in and build your skills out.

You’ll have:

  • The chance to have huge ownership of the outcomes of your work.
  • The chance to find your own niche
  • Attention to detail by the spade
  • The full Adobe CS suite at your disposal and the chance to get training in any new tools. You can bring Figma or learn it there
  • The chance to develop a high quality brand conversation, to get you to the top of your game and develop your career
  • Around 3 years + experience but a quality folio, ambition and articulation is more important than anything else

You’ll be:

  • Thoughtful, considered, meticulous. You back up your design decisions.
  • Someone who is passionate about typography and their craft but also welcomes input from experienced seniors.
  • A key member of a small, highly intelligent team
  • Having meaningful design conversations with the Creative Director
  • Someone who wants to bring rigour and thoughtfulness to how make a brand happen in an organisation.
  • Bringing creativity to toolkits and systems.
  • Comfortable with and keen to learn new technology.

About Anatomy

We’re a strategic brand, design and digital agency. We create work that connects on a human level. That blends empathy with insight. And combines head with heart.

Evoking emotion. With just the right amount of reason. Bringing people, places, and communities together. We create brands with human connection.

An award-winning agency with big ambitions working with clients in place, hospitality, infrastructure, and property. With the occasional challenger brand to mix things up.

We’re a driven lot. But enjoying our work, having fun and creating the right working environment have always been our primary motivators. We take the work seriously but never ourselves.

About the Role

We are looking for a designer with 4+ years of experience to help us drive the brands we work with forward. The successful applicant should feel comfortable with both conceptual design and getting into the details of projects — from brand identity to campaigns, web and digital.
This position is initially offered on a six-month contract, with the potential to extend into a permanent role.

During the contract period, we have several new projects starting in the place, culture and property sectors as well as digital transformation work in Petcare. We will also be continuing to support our existing contracts, including brand development for East West Rail, one of the largest infrastructure projects in the country. You will also work on place brand and marketing projects for Vauxhall London, the City of London, and the Eastern City.

Other clients include exciting challenger brands in dog care, sports travel, and healthcare. We are looking for someone who is bold, creative, and driven to see a project through from concept to delivery with the support of our close-knit team.

The creative team is led by the creative partners but we encourage a flat structure and you will be encouraged to think and create freely while working within the parameters defined by the strategic inputs of each project. A sense of humor and an ego-free approach will ensure you fit in perfectly. The role is hybrid, but we ask that everyone averages three days a week in the studio over a month to encourage collaboration and connection with the team.

Required Skills

• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite

• Good level of After Effects
• Proficient in Figma

Softer Skills

• Meticulous eye for detail

• Proactive ‘can do’ attitude
• Comfortable working as part of a wider team
• Always striving to create the best work possible

Our Mission and Values

In an increasingly digital and divided world, we believe that human-centred brands will win the day. More than ever, people are drawn to the personal and the meaningful—to the emotional and the authentic. To stories that connect us. Whether researching, strategising, or creating, the goal is always to uncover human truths.

Guided by a core set of values, we challenge assumptions, listen with empathy, and embrace new perspectives. We believe the best ideas come from curiosity, openness, and collaboration—always questioning, always evolving. And through it all, we never forget to laugh.

About the Culture and Benefits

The team is built on a culture of collaboration, care, and curiosity. With an open, idea-sharing environment, everyone has a voice, and great work comes from collective effort. There’s a commitment to long-term partnerships—both with clients and within the team—where flexibility, trust, and going the extra mile are second nature.

Beyond the work, the company invests in its people, offering private healthcare, a personal development budget, and additional paid holidays over Christmas. Team lunches, cultural outings, and charity days bring everyone together, creating a workplace that values both professional development and personal well-being.
