We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Digital Designer to join our close-knit team to help bring the Firebox brand to life. We want to hit the ground running in the build-up to this Christmas so you’ll be getting stuck in right away, creating a bank of consistent visual assets to be used across all Firebox channels.

Reporting into the Head of Brand, you’ll be responsible for developing the brand look and feel. We’re aiming to gradually give the whole Firebox experience a facelift – a proper one, not just some iffy botox and lip fillers – so this is an excellent opportunity to put your stamp on the brand and develop the playbook.

Our ideal candidate:

  • A team player with a no-job-too-small attitude, happy to get stuck in wherever needed
  • Self-motivated, full of enthusiasm and creative ideas
  • Highly organised with a ruthless attention to detail
  • Experience within an e-commerce business preferred
  • Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and XD/Sketch/Figma
  • Additional knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign beneficial
  • Exciting portfolio demonstrating commercial work with strong typography and layout skills
  • Willing to be hands-on across the whole design process
  • Able to conceptualise and communicate ideas to key stakeholders – and take feedback on board
  • Ability to juggle a varied workload and hit deadlines is essential
  • Illustration skills and print knowledge is a bonus
  • Experience of UX/UI best practices advantageous
  • Knowledge of Front End development is helpful (HTML, CSS and Javascript)
  • A sense of humour is a must!

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Creating high-quality brand assets to be used across all platforms
  • Including web banners, landing pages, social posts, ads, newsletters, campaign features and more
  • Helping the Head of Brand to shape visual brand guidelines
  • Working with the Brand, Content, PR and Marketing teams to devise creative strategies
  • Maintaining visual brand consistency across all Firebox channels
  • Assisting the Tech team with front-end UI improvements
  • Contributing ideas to the wider business – marketing campaigns, own-brand product ideas and more.

Salary:

Dependent on experience.
