The Architectural Association was founded in 1847, opening as a day school in 1901. The AA is committed to public benefit attained by the learning, teaching, discussion and promotion of architecture. The School is recognised as a worldwide leader in architectural education, with graduates that include many of the world’s leading architects, scholars, critics and educators. The academic and professional programmes of study at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, up to and including doctoral level, are validated by external professional and academic bodies.

Role Overview:
We seek a creative, ambitious graphic designer with a solid base in motion graphics and digital communication to assist in the development of the new AA website, social media channels, digital media, exhibition materials, books, marketing and other materials related to the AA. The AA is a dynamic institution that requires an individual that is excited about and will engage with the culture of the school. As the AA is a deadline driven design environment the candidate will need to occasionally assist with day-to-day projects and be flexible with hours. Finally, a person that enjoys working in a team-driven collaborative environment and the sharing of ideas about the ways in which we graphically promote the AA.

Applicants will be expected to currently work from home, with a view of returning back to office based work subject to easing of Covid-19 restrictions.
