We are looking for a talented (Mid – Senior) Graphic Designer to join our growing Graphics Design team, based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, UK. They will be working closely with the Marketing and E-Commerce team on all digital and print briefs. It’s an exciting time to join us as we continue to expand our department.

This position is best suited for designers who have a great interest in art & design, fashion and the digital world. You will have a few years of experience and be ready to progress to the next stage of your career. We are looking for a designer who holds great aesthetics which pairs with our vision.

Experience and skills

  • Previously worked in fashion retail)
  • Excellent typography skills and layouts
  • Experience of working with E-Commerce brands (retail) and an understanding of digital design
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe CC
  • It is essential you have strong experience with digital platforms, such as Shopify, Klaviyo
  • Basic knowledge of UI design and prototyping programs (web-based or desktop like Figma, XD)
  • Ability to create simple animation
  • Experienced in print production and liaising with external agencies i.e. printers and creative agencies
  • Comfortable working across different types of projects (project management)
  • Confident seeing through all stages of a project from concept to completion
  • Excellent time management skills and be comfortable working under pressure
  • Willingness to grow with the company and go that extra mile
  • Experience in managing small teams or mentoring junior graphic designers is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Develop new graphic design ideas for the brand, ensuring you are working with current trends to maintain the team’s knowledge and awareness
  • Update and maintain homepages, landing pages and templates across multiple websites
  • Provide art working support during busy periods (3 print catalogues produced per annum)
  • Mentor junior designers and work closely alongside our senior designers
  • Manage the creative studio workflow, ensure deadlines are met and have the ability to assign tasks efficiently as required
  • Assist art director on producing creative assets for studio requirements
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage last-minute amendments
  • Understands the importance of following brand guidelines but also able to think ‘outside of the box’
  • Be a brand ambassador and ensure all work that leaves the studio is on brand
  • Work closely with the marketing team to provide support to enable them to write engaging briefs
  • Keep up to date with all design trends, art & culture, fashion, graphic design and moving images
