One of Sydney’s reputable and prestigious design agencies are looking for a new Creative Director. This is a pivotal lead role on developing the team and key accounts within in the property and placemaking sector. This is an award-winning brand design consultancy with an excellent reputation within the design industry and is one of Australia’s most effective brand agencies.

The Creative Director is responsible for leading the design team with a focus on conceiving, presenting and managing the execution of targeted and thoughtful creative for various projects, for a wide array of clients.

The Role:
You will work alongside their second CD who is copy based and together you will build a team underneath you. It’s a great opportunity for a strong Creative Director or a Design Director looking for their next step. Someone that can lead and direct a team, being confident in their own ability and ideas. With the role being 90% leadership, ideation and concept, and around 10% on the tools.

This role is centered on a commitment to producing outstanding work, with an ambition and ability to apply design thinking to all aspects of the project. We are looking for a thoughtful and inspired team leadership style whilst keeping an eye on efficiency and process, maintaining client relationships, leading team conversations and the agency culture.

What we are looking for:

• Solid background and experience in branding.
• At-least 10 years experience with 3 previous years at senior level.
• Exciting and edgy folio which demonstrates your ideation, creative flair and craft.
• Ability to effectively brief, lead, motivate and mentor teams.
• An open, highly collaborative approach. You’ll be a natural communicator with an infectious energy and passion for design.
• The experience to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
• Open to sponsorship for the right candidate.
