Job Role
We are looking to hire a Lead Graphic Designer with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to manage projects and fellow designers. The successful candidate should have an interest, and experience of working, in editorial design and the ability to solve problems creatively. They should have excellent technical, organisation and communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
– Designing creative and engaging visual materials for print and digital platforms.
– Working across editorial, illustrative and photographic formats.
– Developing and implementing style guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects.
– Managing team members to ensure all work is delivered according to the project requirements.
– Providing creative direction to other Designers.
– Working closely with the Design Manager to identify any potential areas of improvement or risk.
– Proofing, preparing and supplying design work for print production.
– Working collaboratively across different departments.

Experience

Essential:
– Experience of working in a design environment that can be evidenced by relevant portfolio examples.
– Highly proficient user of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
– Experience and knowledge of print production.
– Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to work.
– Excellent communication and team-working skills.

Desirable:
– Line management experience.

Contract: 6 month FTC, full time
Salary: Circa £28,000 (depending on experience)
Deadline: 5pm, Friday 12th February 2021
