What you’ll do:
- Lead the design direction for the Group Digital Engagement team across a range of external properties across different markets in Europe including Sky’s corporate website, Sky Zero, Sky Up and others,
- Ensure designs meet business requirements while aligning to the Sky UI Design System and fitting within the Sky brand guidelines,
- Ensure press releases, mailers, event invites, and other communications are published to a high standard across web, on our corporate website newsroom and email, through the line management of our Digital Publishing Assistant who manages this work,
- Collaborate with design and development teams across Group Digital Engagement, Corporate Affairs, and the wider business to create digital experiences and evolve designs,
- Support the wider Group Digital Engagement team and Corporate Affairs function with design advice and problem-solving, and support the Head of Department with team activities and initiatives.
What you’ll bring:
- Excellent design skills – both conceptual and execution, with a solid understanding of visual user-centred design, and storytelling through design,
- Experience with UX deliverables such as user journeys, flows, sitemaps, wireframes and interactive prototypes,
- Experience using a content management system (CMS) to bring a design to life on web platforms,
- Great communication and management skills with experience in line managing and coaching junior colleagues,
- A keen interest in design and communications trends and the ability to turn them into reality,
- Experience in gathering business requirements, translating business objectives into designs, and managing stakeholders while working to tight deadlines,
- Experience with the latest tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Userzoom, Ceros, and content management systems (CMS), or comparable tools,
- An interest in the breadth of products, services and initiatives across the business and a passion for the entertainment industry,
- The nature of the business means at times there will be work out of core working hours, for which time off in lieu will be provided.
