Art Fund is the UK’s national fundraising charity for art. We believe that art can make you see, think and feel differently, and through our work we help make art more accessible to as many visitors as possible, wherever they are. We give grants to help museums and galleries acquire works of art for their collections, share them with wide audiences, and support the training and professional development of curators. We are supported by our growing membership of 130,000 through the National Art Pass, as well as the generosity of many trusts, foundations and individuals.

Digital and Creative Asset Coordinator

Location: This role is located at our King’s Cross office (2 Granary Square, London N1C 4BH), but we offer hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days based in the office for full time employees
Contract length: Perm
Salary: £21,600 pro rata for 4 days a week / £27,000 for full time
Hours: The role is currently at 4 days a week (hybrid) but we are open to discuss full time employment.

The Role

We are looking for an organised, detail-orientated individual to join the Creative Team at Art Fund as our Digital / Creative Asset Co-ordinator. Working closely with colleagues across all departments at Art Fund, you will have a proven experience overseeing all areas relating to copyright and image licensing for print and digital use as well as a keen eye for sourcing and commissioning great images.

The ideal person will be equally confident in maintaining our bank of photography and design assets via our DAM (Digital Asset Management) System as they are liaising with photographers, museums and galleries, artists, and licensing organisations in response to internal image requirements. Part of this exciting opportunity involves occasionally working on-location at shoots in museums and galleries and at events across the UK as part of a lively calendar of photography commissioning.

A day in this role will see you working across the organisation, ensuring copyright information for all imagery is accurate and up to date, responding to picture research briefs and supporting colleagues in commissioning and sourcing consistently high-quality images that meet our Brand requirements for wide range of national marketing and fundraising projects.

Experience working in DAM systems, with knowledge of image licensing & copyright is essential, as is prior experience in commissioning photographers to meet internal client briefs. The role involves working closely with the Design and Production Manager on a range of print projects so experience or knowledge of print processes would be desirable but not essential.
