The Job

The Creative Studio Manager works in close partnership with the Creative Director to design and deliver a well-executed workflow and environment for the Creative team, providing each sub-department (Design, Digital and Dressing and Production) with planning, process and project/task management solutions in their goal of servicing the rest of the Central and Venue teams.

You will be the focal point for receiving all tasks and projects, ensuring task owners are supported in following the studio’s best practices. This includes providing clear guidance on both the creative processes and frameworks, working with the team to implement, develop solutions and deliver final creative output.

You will also support the Creative Director in all areas of diary, people and task management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run daily stand-ups and weekly reviews with each of the creative sub-department to ensure each team member is on track
  • Support in the development, communication & adherence of all Creative workflows and processes both within the dept. and wider team.
  • Own MS Planner – ensuring the tasks are assigned appropriately, considering priorities, deadlines, and team workload.
  • Filtering of comms and requests from UK or International to the relevant Creative team member
  • Working closely with Creative Director to help manage their calendar and workload, ensuring clarity of their priorities and availability
  • Ensure best practices for the teams’ time-tracking via Clockify, ensuring it has all relevant projects and is filled in on time
  • Manage the BAU budget system where Creative time is allocated appropriately.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the maintenance of Creative filing and databases such as Frontify, Media Library, Creative Server etc.
  • Ongoing development and maintenance of the Freelancer Database
  • Research and implementation of any new systems or processes that will enhance the efficiency and quality of the work produced and /or the Creative teams’ management of their workload
  • Ownership of 3rd party creative software and tools such as Udemy, Shutterstock etc.
  • Working with the Creative Director and Head of Digital Entertainment, build a programme framework that gives structure to all Digital projects in terms of task, time and resource
  • Manage the communication between the various departments/ stakeholders involved, to ensure important milestones are met and sign off is acquired
  • Work with the Head of Digital Entertainment to run efficient project sprints
  • Assist with the recruitment of new team members, setting up interviews and managing recruiter relationships
  • Ensure the team have regular touch points with current creative culture by arranging trips to design shows and exhibitions
  • Arranging team socials and celebrating birthdays and work milestones
  • Working with the Heads of Departments within Creative to support and help coordinate any management needs
  • Working with the Creative Director on annual budgets and monitoring the spend throughout the year

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Demonstrable experience of working within a similar role and setting
  • Excellent multi tasking skills and be super oganised
  • A strong understanding of creative and digital project processes
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel plus other MS Office tools such as Teams, Planner etc.
  • Project management experience and familiarity with the Agile method a plus
