Job description

We are looking for a collaborative, caring and energetic mid-weight Project Manager with a breadth of agency experience. Working with our growing cross-disciplinary team and network of collaborators to create rigorously researched and beautifully communicated work. Our international clients range across sectors from technology to manufacturing, apparel to food.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the design and/or creative industry to manage and produce a variety of projects, at different scales and a range of media.

It is a busy and exciting time for FranklinTill, growing steadily and continuing to win new and diverse work. With a collaborative team we are looking for someone proactive, approachable and punctual, who is keen to develop and confident to get stuck in straight away.

We deeply appreciate the importance of a healthy work-life balance. We recognise the shifts in working practices that Covid has brought about, and have been thriving as a remote-working team. We aim to get together in person at least once a month, and share annual social events to enrich ourselves and connect with one another.

Whilst our team is primarily working remotely we offer membership to an East London co-working space so ideally this candidate is London based or willing to travel into London regularly to meet with clients and team members as and when needed.

About you

  • Strong experience in a design, branding, or innovation agency
  • Culturally astute and aware of the industry and world around you, with a good knowledge of different design disciplines and the sustainability agenda
  • The ability to keep calm under pressure, with a consistent, positive can-do attitude
  • Positive and proactive problem solver, providing solutions and welcoming new challenges
  • A good commercial mind and experience in managing project budgets in line with timelines
  • A strong communicator, with clients, collaborators and internal teams
  • Confident creating and presenting weekly project status reports on progress for clients
  • Excellent attention to detail verbally, in writing and with numbers
  • Methodical and process-driven with the ability to deal with and respond to change positively
  • The ability to work on projects from initial scoping, through to concept and creative development, to production and delivery
  • Highly organised and capable of planning, managing and prioritising multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously across different time zones
  • Experience with Google cloud software: Slides, Sheets, Docs, Drive, as well as Slack and Miro is preferable

Salary

£40,000—45,000 pro-rata 4 days, dependent on experience.

About us

FranklinTill is a futures research agency supporting global brands and organisations to implement design, colour and material innovation for positive social and environmental impact.

At the heart of everything we do is a belief that research and innovation in design, materiality and colour are integral to a more sustainable future. We’re interested in the bigger picture, connecting the dots between culture shifts and aesthetic movements, and exploring the intersections between technological advances, political change and public mindsets. We deliver actionable research that enables long-term sustainable innovation, not short-term trend-chasing. Our clients include lifestyle brands and design-oriented businesses in every sector. They turn to us for insight into the forms, colours and materials that will inform the world of tomorrow, and for bespoke, sustainable innovation strategies to help them shape it.

FranklinTill is a proudly female-founded company that operates with heart to cultivate a nurturing and fulfilling work environment. Supporting our clients and collaborators to shift toward a sustainable future is at the core of our company’s purpose, and we recognise the connection between nurturing ourselves and nurturing the planet.

Our clients are industry leaders in the worlds of sports, automotive, technology and sustainability and we work with them on projects that span intelligence reports, to innovation workshops, printed and digital publications, and creative communications campaigns.

As well as our in-house multidisciplinary team of writers, strategists, creatives and designers we collaborate with talent from around the world including graphic designers, photographers, stylists and image makers.
