We’re looking for a passionate mid-senior designer who can creatively communicate our brand stories, bringing them to life through compelling visuals that will engage new and existing customers.

As a Mid-Senior Designer…
You’ll make the most of your extensive skill set, developing marketing briefs from concepts and visuals, through to completion. From digital design, art direction and graphic ideation, you’ll be confident in your ability, creative direction and be able to present your ideas to all levels of the business.

Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce and collaborating closely with our Brand, Design & Marketing teams, you’ll be a real team player, able to switch between projects and briefs when necessary, continuously showcasing our brand in new and exciting ways. You’ll be passionate about what you do, champion a digital-first mindset and operate with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

Creative

  • Be a champion and guardian of our visual brand identity, ensuring consistently high-quality creative across all touchpoints
  • Commission and brief external contractors, such as photographers, videographers to ensure we are always bringing fresh brand creative to expand our asset suite
  • Lead the Art Direction, casting, styling and post-production for brand photoshoots
  • Executing in-house production for ad hoc content creation and ongoing ecommerce photography
  • Creating brand guideline and direction documents, with support of wider Brand team

Design

  • Create effective and engaging digital marketing campaigns, across all channels
  • Create animations and short videos that can be used across our paid and organic channels
  • Support the marketing team on the creation of captivating assets for our organic social channels that help us build a community of brand advocates
  • Lead the design of a suite of emails that keep our customers engaged and informed
  • Create engaging trade marketing assets for our B2B customers, including for email, partner websites & social media.
  • Conceptualise visuals based on requirements/campaigns and be confident to sell your work to other members of the team/business
  • Consistent research and understanding of new trends, creative innovation & marketing inspiration, to be shared with the wider marketing team.

Workflow Management

  • Managing workload effectively, ensuring briefs meet required standard, communicating priorities clearly and demonstrating clear knowledge of all stages of different projects lifecycles
  • Based on experience, could be opportunity to manage/mentor.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in creating and executing compelling brand experiences across digital channels
  • Expert knowledge of design tools and software – including Adobe Creative Suite
  • Photography skills for in-house production requirements
  • A passion for graphics & art direction
  • Strong conceptual thinker, someone who can initiate and contribute ideas and create strategic concepts relating to behaviour change/engagement campaigns
  • Big picture thinker with fierce attention to detail
  • Experience with basic motion graphics would be a bonus
