Job Description

As the world’s leading illustrated non-fiction Publisher we are looking for an organised and imaginative Design Assistant to join us to support on all jackets and sales material co-ordination in our busy publishing team.

The Life team create books about all things lifestyle and health, this includes books for adults on cooking, drink, gardening, craft, fitness, and self-improvement. We work with high-profile authors and with the best photographers and illustrators in the industry.  Joining the team in a more administrative role you will learn about all areas of the business with a view that in 3-6 months you will progress into the design team fully and take on a more hands-on design role.

Some of your day-to-day will involve:

  • Coordinating jackets and sales material
  • Supporting creative team with small design tasks and admin
  • Liaising with other departments and our team in Delhi

This is a busy role and you will need to be well organised to ensure you can deliver. Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential as is a passion for design and a desire to progress your career as a designer.
