Starting salary: £30,440 per annum including Inner London Weighting

Our new Content & Design Coordinator will play a central and creative role in our busy and ambitious Marketing department. Supporting our Social Media & Content Manager in the commissioning and production of digital content to promote our arts and learning programmes and engage audiences with the Barbican brand, they’ll also manage content and design needs of teams from across the Centre.

The holder of this role will need to be organised, confident, cheerful and pragmatic as well as being able to interpret stakeholders needs and apply their creative mind to finding creative solutions. Experience of creating content for social media is essential and familiarity with audio and video production is a huge benefit. They’ll be confident working with both in-house designers and managing external suppliers. While not a designer themselves, they’ll have an eye for great design, an understanding of how to manage brand and a knack for how to tell different stories to different audiences.
