As an independent, successful app publisher, we are passionate about creating products that enhance people’s lives.

Our first app SnoreLab is a top-ranked health app that has helped countless people with their sleep and snoring problems. Since its launch in 2012, SnoreLab has achieved over 12million downloads, with a 4.5-star rating and Editor’s Choice.

Over the past few years, the creators of SnoreLab have been developing a brand new sleep tracking and smart alarm relaxation app called Sleepwave. Launched in February 2022 on iOS, this exciting new app features patent-pending technology that transforms any phone into a contactless motion-sensor. With revolutionary motion-sensing technology and beautiful design, Sleepwave has the potential to become a leading lifestyle and wellness app.

We are a small London-based team with an office in the heart of Shoreditch. We are looking for a talented individual who is a good communicator and has experience working closely in teams.

In the role, you will be producing vector illustrations, marketing materials, icons and brand materials for our popular apps. You will also be involved with UI and UX design and be a key member of the product team. As a company, our working style is very collaborative and everybody has input in the creative direction of our apps.

The role is varied and covers a lot of bases and is suited to someone who enjoys a challenge and likes variety. This position would be perfect for an individual who has a strong graphic design background, fluency in Adobe illustrator teamed with a growing interest in UI design and willingness to learn new things. A strong portfolio is more important than previous experience as a UI designer.

About the role

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining brand assets such as logos
  • Designing custom vector icons and colour palettes
  • Creating functional illustrations
  • Design and update UI of existing and new apps
  • Involvement in designing UX
  • Helping with text layout and typography
  • Producing assets for marketing
  • Keeping Sketch files + Zeplin files up to date and providing relevant assets to the development team
  • Liaising with freelance illustrator, giving creative direction and feedback on their work
  • Creating basic vector animations (this is desirable, prior experience not essential)

About you

Essential:

  • A degree in graphic design or other art and design related subjects
  • Excellent illustration skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with icon design, branding experience, typography, graphic design
  • An eye for colour
  • Passionate about good design
  • Good organisation skills

Nice to have

  • UI/UX experience, animation experience, management, testing, familiarity with code

Software skills

Essential: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch or equivalent prototyping software
Desirable: Adobe After Effects, Lottie (in After Effects), Zeplin
