Our client is looking for a wordsmith to craft copy across all owned channels with the same uncompromising eye for detail and quality that goes into everything made by this British icon.

The facts:

As their first Writer you’ll be:

  • Working closely with the Creative Director and reporting to the Head of Marketing, enjoying regular contact with the CEO and senior team
  • Making sure that marketing content is unmistakably on-point in terms of brand tone and supports the business’s overall commercial and creative objectives
  • Crafting website copy, product descriptions, emails, paid social, organic social, press releases, packaging and organising all content in their journal… in short, if its written, you’ll be behind it.
  • Building a brilliant understanding of the brand’s ethos, history and products – keeping a keen eye on the competition – so your brand knowledge will sing through all content briefs
  • Brainstorming ideas and content formats and working with the internal sale and retail teams to make sure all content is aligned and working hard
  • Resourcing, coordinating and overseeing the quality and output of freelance writers

You’ll be:

  • A gifted writer with a journalistic mind-set
  • Experienced in writing editorial copy within the fashion industry with at least 2 years under your belt
  • Organised and able to plan, schedule and collaborate with colleagues to get content out as briefed, on time and to a very high standard
  • Able to adapt your style by channel, as comfortable honing editorial copy as you are technical, functional product content
  • Keenly appreciative of the design and manufacturing process and the motivation to immerse yourself in relevant external resources – industry trends, consumer behaviours and cultural influences
  • Able to manage workload and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Strong commercially and technically with intuitive sense of brand
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experienced with Adobe Creative  Suite
  • Passionate about modern luxury fashion
