Day to day, you will be qualitatively researching to reveal useful creative insights and trends for clients. You can make your ideas plain to designers and clients during the whole project process. You enjoy staying connected to the design process and love working with designers. You can run a workshop or interview clients or focus groups to gauge responses to concepts. You enjoy putting presentations together to organise your ideas, creating solid territories, frameworks and narratives that people understand and engage with. You enjoy a fast pace.

You will work alongside writers, researchers, other strategists (around 5 others), designers and client services and you understand the power of collaboration. You have a decent understanding of the consultancy process and have a huge curiosity and interest in your clients’ businesses and in the power of design-led thinking.

You will have around 3-5 years relevant agency or brand side experience. You could be a very experienced junior looking for the next step or a midweight strategist looking to get more established and be in a team and/or a larger agency.

You’ll be:

  • Able to talk design (to non-designers)
  • Client facing
  • A strong communicator: a confident, articulate speaker
  • Someone who has interesting opinions on brand and business and can articulate them clearly
  • A holistic thinker; you can think about an experience of a brand in the round
