Based in Bermondsey, London, Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep represent two arms of the most cutting-edge independent electronic music labels in the world.

Covering the full spectrum of electronic music from ambient and electronica through house, breakbeat and melodic techno and trance, the Anjuna roster includes acts such as global stars Above & Beyond, Lane 8 and Mat Zo, as well as rising tastemaker acts Yotto, Cubicolor, Trance Wax (Ejeca) and Kidnap.

We are looking for a Junior Motion Designer to join our team based in Bermondsey, London (currently working remote). This is an entry level role that would best suit a recent graduate.

Joining our close-knit and multi-talented Art Department (www.involved-design.com), you’ll receive mentorship and skills development from our in-house design gurus and work on a huge range of visual projects for top-tier electronic artists signed to Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep that you can add to your personal portfolio.

Working closely with our label team, artist managers and, in some cases, artists, you’ll be helping us communicate exciting new music releases within today’s manic social web. While extensive professional experience is not compulsory, we’re looking for someone with a curious mindset who understands innately ‘what works’ on platforms like Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. If you don’t use these platforms, you may not be right for this role.

Alongside creating motion assets, you may also be called upon to work with static layouts and photography. We work with Adobe Creative Suite. You will need to be an expert in After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere. Knowledge of 3D softwares is also beneficial.

Your role:

  • Create engaging visual content through motion graphics, video editing and still image with best practice in design for social media in mind.
  • Respond to company briefs with the ability to prioritize, work on multiple projects and be adaptable in a dynamic environment
  • Work on album artwork design briefs, including storyboarding release assets and creating mood boards for artist management.

If you would like to have a conversation with us about the application process before applying for this role please do not hesitate to email Claire Horseman at thehorsie@anjunabeats.com. We will be happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments to the application process that may be required or to answer any questions you may have around potential barriers you think there could be prior to applying. We recognise the importance of diversity within our team and are fully committed to embracing all types of talent.
