We’re Found, a London-based creative studio combining 3D motion design and film craft. We are an independent, owner-managed business which is creatively driven, close-knit and champions transparency in the way we operate.

With a strong eye for design and visual storytelling, we produce bold, cinematic work for some of the world’s leading brands and agencies, including Adidas, Ballantine’s, Everlane, Superunion & VIZIO. Collaborative and experimental, we align the artistry of a boutique studio with the rigour of a production house, for refined, standout work.

We’re looking for an inspirational Creative Director that brings energy and visionary thinking to Found. This is an amazing opportunity to join us and lead our studio creatively. We are at the beginning of an exciting phase of growth as we begin to move into a new studio, evolve our brand, expand the team and do more work internationally.

We need someone with a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills (both spoken and written) who’s also commercially savvy, process-driven and takes responsibility in their stride.

Outwardly, our new Creative Director should bring understanding of brands and marketing in a global sense, with experience of pitching to and wowing clients, big and small, in person and virtually.

Internally, we need a track record of hiring, managing and nurturing creative teams (both permanent and freelance) and an understanding of running a creative business. This role will be part of our Leadership Team, so experience on boards or senior teams with P&L visibility is a big plus.

Day-to-day this role has complete creative autonomy, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to evolve Found’s creative vision while putting your own mark on it. The Creative Director will be responsible, with the creative team, for idea and concept generation. They will handle treatments, scripting and storyboarding, challenging client thinking and expectations throughout. In short, they will drive the overall direction of each project.

From a technical point of view, excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is a must, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and InDesign, along with Apple Keynote. Working knowledge of Cinema4D and the CGI motion graphics workflow is very much preferred, and experience of Houdini, Redshift, Octane and live action shooting and direction are all nice-to-haves.

We are very open to where our new Creative Director comes from. You could be someone in a small independent studio wanting to make a move into a different size business with more profile. Someone from a larger agency looking for more creative freedom and sense of autonomy. Or you’re working in-house at a leading brand, looking to take that experience across multiple sectors.

We’re offering a competitive salary (that will be dependant on background and experience), annual company and performance bonus, 25 days holiday (plus Christmas shutdown) and flexible working (in terms of the working day and studio/remote mix).

As we enter a new chapter of Found, we’re incredibly excited to be hiring for this role. We can’t wait to hear from you.

If so, please send your portfolio & reel and an introductory email to Dan and we’ll be in touch.
