We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our Social Media team. The role will involve working across music and entertainment focused projects for brands and broadcasters including BBC, The BRIT Awards, Amazon and Red Bull.

The role will sit with a highly collaborative team of designers helping to produce eye-catching video content, graphics, memes and contributing to programme and brand identities.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for great social media design and know how to make video content that demands attention. It will involve regular short-term deadlines across a number of different brands working closer with the relevant producers and account managers.

We are looking for a designer who specialises in video editing and motion and is looking to pick up further skills in artworking and layout design.

The role is initially offered on a 3 month fixed term contract beginning in September.

The exact salary offered will be dependent on experience but it will be in the range of £23,000 – £26,000 per annum, pro rated for the length of the contract.

Key responsibilities

  • Working as an integral part of the social team to deliver best in class social content on a daily basis.
  • Working closely with producers working across a range of accounts to ensure that the needs and requirements of the client base are served on time.
  • Assisting other areas of the business with their design needs, be it for pitches and proposals or mock-ups.
  • Generating new ideas for social media executions and working with the wider team to bring them to life.

Experience required

Excellent knowledge of Premiere Pro and Photoshop is essential and a good understanding of After Effects is desired.
Knowledge of existing and emerging social platforms is essential.
A demonstrable enthusiasm for layout, typography and colour
