As a Lead Digital Designer, you would be responsible for the look and feel of Athena Advisers online and offline materials, keeping consistency with brand guidelines and driving a creative and commercial edge on the competition.
You will be responsible for delivering high impact and effective communications for Athena Advisers and working with the marketing team to build and maintain Athena Group brands. The role is both strategic and hands-on and the ideal candidate will have experience of leading conversations and meetings with stakeholders.
You will be part of an enthusiastic, growing team dedicated to excellence in a highly competitive business environment and you will be supported by a strong senior management team, led by the three partners, who together are always open to refreshing and innovative ways of improving the business.
The role is based within our London headquarters in Fulham. The ability to travel periodically is important as we have offices in Paris, Lisbon, Annecy (French Alps), Dublin and Rio de Janeiro, and our range of properties span even more destinations worldwide.

Job Specification
You will have a key role in Athena’s organization and the main duties are as follows:
Design responsive websites, landing pages & email campaigns
Enforce and evolve the brands of Athena Group, keeping the style guides up to date
Be responsible for the design creatives across all channels: Athena Group websites, email campaign, digital and print ads, social media, presentations, events branding, sales collateral, branding projects for external clients
Interpret briefs and think creatively to develop new innovative ideas and concepts
Create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements
Art direct and mentor the team for designers and videographer
Follow trends, competitors and seek inspiration to present to the team for idea generation

Required skills
Significant experience as a designer working across digital and print
A varied portfolio of work (digital, print, branding, social media)
Great eye for clean, modern design, art direction skills
Strong project management and organisation skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to think about design strategy and brand at a strategic level
Team management skills, ability to mentor and coach
Good understanding of web development and online/mobile user experience
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Proficiency in Sketch, Figma or inVision
Knowledge of the latest design and technology trends
Experience in coding with HTML and CSS is an advantage
Previous experience within the property, leisure or tourism sectors would be beneficial
