We’re recruiting on behalf of an independent and award-winning agency based in Shoreditch who are at an exciting stage of growth and development and needing an established middle-weight Designer to join them.
This agency is working with some impressive clients in the international hospitality, F&B and hotel sectors creating evocative, beautiful and emotionally engaging brands and iconic destinations that people genuinely love. Working very closely with the Head of Design, experienced Strategists and the CEO, this person will have the opportunity to interpret strategies and turn them in to creative ideas that surprise and delight clients, colleagues and audiences alike.
Everything this agency does is underpinned by meaningful and innovative creative ideas. As such, our ideal candidate will need to be a highly conceptual and versatile person who absorbs, and is inspired by culture, art, music, cuisine and of course, design. You’ll also need to be hands on with the day to day design delivery and enjoy this part of the process too. The agency has plenty of ongoing and upcoming projects, which means this person will have an element of creative control over some of the projects they are working on, taking responsibility for the overall creative quality. The creative output is varied and will often involve creating identities and brands but also designing collateral, menus, brand experience and environments, and sometimes a website.

Our ideal candidate:
An established mid-weight with significant experience in a branding agency environment.
An impressive folio of experimental, conceptually driven and beautifully executed projects that demonstrate versatility and the natural ability to adapt your visual style and aesthetic to different clients and sectors.
Someone confident delivering projects that are underpinned by reason and always have the end-user in mind.
Has all the core design skills and tools, including typography, layout, composition and attention to detail.
A love of digital and trying out new types of technology whenever you get the opportunity.
Has developed sound creative judgement in their previous roles and enjoys contributing opinions, ideas and design knowledge to every project.
