The Studio
Inhouse studio for a specialist provider of design and creative services. This is a new team situated within a financial services organisation. The company is located in Central London and has a hybrid work policy (3 days on-site, 2 remote days), however, they will require a full 5 days onsite whilst on probation.
The Opportunity
In this role you will work as part of the creative team, creating solid and consistently exceptional work across multiple channels that will engage and inspire the client. You will act as a brand guardian by maintaining brand tone, standards, and style on all designs; will have pride for accuracy and be able to employ the latest techniques and trends and deliver work to the highest possible standards in an impactful and creative manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Take initial design direction and develop these, with the support of the senior designer, across a larger array of design collateral in both traditional media, digital, and motion.
Follow client and account teams/instructions and implement changes accordingly
Creating layouts for existing design and brand standards
Meet and/or communicate with clients to discuss the requirements of the job
Assist in the brainstorming to produce new ideas and concepts and support the development of designs for print and digital media
Adhere to consistent industry-standard design and production processes, while also identifying opportunities for improvement
The Ideal Candidate:
Will have experience creating amazing client deliverables and assets such as printed collateral, digital media (including video), infographics, pitches, and presentations.
Have a good understanding of layout, colour, and typography and how to correctly set up files for print and digital output.
Knowledge of PowerPoint and Creative Suite, including Aftereffects and/or Premiere
Good experience with print, colour retouching, and digital artwork production
Have a fierce passion for all things creative and constantly bring fresh ideas into your team.
Have a keen interest in emerging technologies in the creative production process and readily adopt new ways of working.
Have a clear communication style and be comfortable working as part of a diverse and energetic team. You will be comfortable presenting your ideas to your peers and managers, and everything you do will have clear outcomes, along next steps that drive the business forward.
