This role is key to the experience division at TPXimpact. The ideal candidate should be creatively strong, hands-on, and user-centred. You will be working alongside other creatives, UX designers, researchers, strategists and developers to build beautiful and engaging digital experiences that drive positive impact and make the world a better place.

You will work closely with our Head of Creative and Creative Director to interpret our clients’ brand guidelines, translate their requirements into actions, delivering beautiful and engaging designs that are usable and accessible.

At TPXimpact, our aim is to balance client work, internal projects, personal and team development. Wherever possible we will reflect your personal interests, preferences and desires.

The nature of our work is sometimes unpredictable, therefore part of your role will be helping us make plans and coordinate work and projects, making the complex simple both for our clients and our team.

From time to time, you will contribute ideas and creative work for new business proposals and pitches, to help us win exciting and challenging new projects.

Your responsibilities will be both billable work for clients (80%) and non-billable internal work.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a sound commercial understanding on multiple projects at once, that sees them all delivered to the appropriate level of fidelity and detail – on time, and in line with the allocated budget.
Translate UX outputs (such as sketches and wireframes) into pixel perfect visual UI designs.
Strong presentation skills, with a clear and knowledgeable articulation of decisions made, why, and who they were made for.
Contribute to ideation sessions with the wider Experience team, developing creative ideas that answer user and client needs, and be comfortable discussing those ideas with the team.
Be involved in internal innovation projects, and contributing to the Creative community.

About You

Essential Experience

  • Plan projects in collaboration with the wider team, and identify the activities required for success.
  • Planning and conducting workshops suitable to achieve project goals.
  • Creating and presenting design concepts and recommendations.
  • An in depth understanding of how to translate and action client feedback, and the confidence to push back if needed.
  • Support the new business team by providing additional research or creative for proposals or pitches.
  • Using tools such as Figma, Sketch and Creative Cloud.
  • Creative design kits and pattern libraries to craft consistent, digital designs, such as website page layouts, templates and modules.
  • Ability to self-organise your day-to-day, and reach out for collaboration when required.
  • Mature use of typography, in type scales and graphic applications.
  • A working and applicable knowledge of web accessibility standards and how to implement them

Desirable Experience

Ability to translate UI design into interaction or motion design that enhances the user’s experience.
Animation/motion skills for things such as case studies and infographics.
Illustration skills or the ability to create iconography and graphics.
